This book is so FUN! Finlay is a mess but amazing lol
I absolutely adored everything about this book minus the ex husband. I genuinely just enjoyed this story and the plot. And the realness of Finlay.

This was done so well! It was funny, sneaky, kept me guessing, and I was addicted. I listened to this bs reading it and I wish there were 2 narrators but that’s such a small thing. Overall, this was just a fun read and I enjoyed it.

I thought this was an incredibly sweet and honest story of first love. I LOVED the diversity in this book. Steffi's anxiety, Rhys' frustrations with people and the hearing world, and the fact that not everyone in this book is white is refreshing for a YA contemporary fiction.
The one thing I genuinely did not like: I loved Tem until the issue she and Steffi had at the end. She was pretty selfish in that moment and it did not seem like how she would truly act.
A very sweet book. A very real look at first love that I enjoyed.

This book was a freaking whirlwind.
I was here for the BIPOC sapphic Cinderella retelling and it delivered, mostly. Sophia wants to change the world around her. And I was rooting for her from the very beginning. My issues start with the necromancy/raising the dead I understand this is a fantasy, but that just kind of changed the vibe of the book. I understand why it was used and the way it intertwined with the twist of the book. But it still felt weird.
I liked Constance enough and Sophia was ok, but the other wise characters were more itneresting tbh. Although I did find Erin irritating but the irritation I had with her made sense.
This book does kind of give me some Hocus Pocus vibes.
Beyond all of that - I loved the idea of a town following the tale of Cinderella (not bc I like it or believe it but bc it is an incredibly intelligent use of a fairytale retelling).
As for the ending of this book - it felt a bit rushed, but overall, I liked the resolution. I would love more retellings like this that have BIPOC, queer, strong women changing the world in fairytales.

I am… disappointed.
This book felt all over the place and all of the red herrings got to be too much. But I had hope. I hoped the reveal would be everything. And it was not. I feel like this was almost 2 stories in one but neither could be finished so they were mashed together. I’m left feeling… bummed, lol

I’ve been a huge fan of the Office for years and I have always wished I was I to podcasts because the Office Ladies podcast seems so fun. But they’re just not my thing. Audiobooks though? My thing!
I loved listening to Angela and Jenna (and other cast members!) reminisce about how they because best friends, the highs of the show and their lives, and little stories about different episodes and their lives outside the show.
Their friendship is beautiful and a true testament to female friendship. The admiration they have for each other and the rest of their cast mates is something you don’t see often. But I think that made the show so great.
I love hearing them love the show they were on for so many years. How they appreciate the writers, the hair and makeup team, the set team, etc. is wonderful and fun to listen to.
What I loved most was hearing the questions so many Office fans have from the people who were in the show. I also loved hearing how the actors were asked for their opinion on their characters. I think that made the cast feel more authentic.
This was a fun, sweet, and cozy listen.

Genuinely love this series; it’s incredibly fun and angst and kind. I do think sometimes moments in this series love TOO fast, even for a comic series. However, I think they nail the characters and their personalities. Excited for Starfire but so sad I have to wait a year 😢

I was pretty bored. I didn’t like any of the characters but I wanted to keep going because the premise is fascinating. I just couldn’t go further.
