Probably 3.5. Cute pop psych book on social learning and other social influences. The title was kind of misleading though and I’m not really convinced anything new was discussed.

Must read for anyone that interacts with people in persuasive atmospheres and situations. Sometimes you'll think... "I don't do that.." but you do! We all want to belong to humanity by being able to connect. Sometimes... it's ok if the connection does not happen. I have found myself more forgiving of others and their viewpoints after reading this... I can still hold them accountable... but I don't have to hold onto it.

Nothing in particular stood out. I didn’t like the author and neuroscience information was pretty standard.

A deep dive into studies around human behavior and what that means. Very interesting to me but I can imagine not so for others so keep that in mind when you see my 5 ⭐️ review. Listened to the audio and did so in short segments since it is packed with info despite it being a rather short (5h) audio book. Honestly wish I came across this book when my kids were younger! Certainly it’s applicable to all adults too!

I love reading books about how people are influenced. I work in marketing, and I'm a social media influencer, but I'm more interested in the subject because I'm fascinated by human behavior. This is the second book from Tali Sharot I've read, and she did an amazing job once again. In this book, she breaks down the psychology behind how people are influenced, but she provides a fresh perspective. I've read many books on this subject, but Sharot has personally conducted research, so it was interesting reading about what she found.
