I don't really have a great memory of the content as I had to read this years ago for school and things were not going too well for me at the time. I do however remember the profound impact this book had on me and how much I was moved by it. I will therefore try and reread it, to see if it upholds the test of time.

This was really good. A Story About Cancer With a Happy Ending opens a door to the realities of living with cancers. It shows the struggles of going through live being seen as a cancer patient, how by having cancer connects you with others who have the same disease and might not make it. This story creates understanding for people who are both directly and indirectly affected by this disease. Furthermore, the illustrations were lovely and captured the mood excellently. My favourite bit was at the end where the girl sheds here 'old self', marking the start of a new life.

A sincere thank you to Lincoln Children's Books and NetGalley for the copy.

Growing as a very anxious kid that was worried about a lot, perhaps this book could have given me some sort of solace at that time. I myself now currently do not identify as a christian, but I can definitely see how this could help a young person, growing up in a christian household. The art was very nice as well. I would say this book is alright.

A sincere thank you to NetGalley and Harvest House Publishers for the arc.

I read this in secondary school for English class and at the time I don't think I was able to grasp everything within this story and place it in the correct perspective. Perhaps in the near future I will return to it.

This was my first Lumberjanes comic (I thought I was reading the first volume, lol) and I really enjoyed it. The colours are extremely lively and it was definitely a treat to look at. I also enjoyed how diverse the cast of characters were, each had their own identity which I thought was very cool too! I will definitely be continuing with this comic!! :D
