The Valkyrie and her Raven

Wow.....

This book had me on edge the entire time. I am so invested in finding out what the heck is going on in this freaking Academy. What is happening to cause these supernaturals full of life to become husks of themselves and denying their natural instincts.

How can a vampire or reaper survive without their life source. I mean it is barely surviving but they are not dead....

I know what went wrong with Clay and hate that they don't and it broke my heart. A freaking reaper who is the best golden retriever character. I love how each of the characters is so different and they all came looking for something. I just want to wrap them all up in hugs.

But seriously with that ending what the feck is going on. Who is that character and what the heck did he mean.

I absolutely can not wait to see what happens next. I need answers so badly. This was just a taste and I need to eat the full meal.

A chance meeting leads to drastic changes

The Appleby Horse Fair always brings in the Travellers, a group of nomadic people that are look at as troublemaker. This year Tess finds herself serving an Irish Traveller named Declan Furey who now has her in his sights.

This is a dark and twisted romance. Declan is very possessive of Tess. He isn't afraid to take what he wants even if that both excites and terrifies Tess. However, as she gets to know this man she finds herself helplessly drawn into his orbit.

This book is super spicy with an edge of noncon (I mean she kind of says no but when pushed she lets him do whatever he wants). Tess needed something different in her life and Declan offered that in spades.

I have to say it took me a but to get used to the way this was written and I had to let the screen reader read part of it before it made sense in my head. I commend the author for the written giving that Irish sound.

Hockey, a Cam Girl, and a contract

This was a really good book. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because it wasn't as spicy as I hoped. I always expect a lot when everyone is doing each other.

This is my first book by this author but I will absolutely be reading more. The story has a lot of moving parts that bring everything together.

We have the rookie Hockey player Romeo. Then we have the seasoned Hunter. These two can not deal with each other and it makes them work terribly together. Except when a few stolen moments show the hate might really just be tension. Both men have their secrets but when they realize they share one of them everything starts to change.

Valencia is a fantastic photographer and the new social media manager for the Yeti hockey team. Except she also moonlights as Ruby a very popular cam girl. When an event at the local sex club gives her a taste of a threesome she can't help wanting more. When her wolds beging to clash how will she respond?

The sexy time in this book is really good and well written. I just really wanted more of it. Every time the tension hit a break was so absolutely amazing and so hot.

Slowest burn with a cliffy

So I absolutely love this series and I can not wait for more.

The characters are diverse and all have their own issues. This book really brings the characters together more and also gives us more insight to each character.

Kit/Kat is our anxiety ridden FMC who is pretending to be a man since she is enrolled at an all male school. She spent all her life prior to the academy being abused in one way or the other. She came from an all human existence to a demon academy.

We have our demon/shifter hybrids who are finding themselves more and more drawn to the new little demon in their group.

This book definitely shows the changes going on with all of the characters. Everyone is slowly having to deal with more emotions surrounding Kit Kat. Kit is also learning to trust and accept touch.

Can they ever let their group know that Kit is actually Kat for real? What is going to happen with these games? What exactly is Kat?

I am so in love with these characters. I seriously want to cuddle Salem by the way.  I love learning about hell and demons with Kit. The political parts are intriguing and I typically hate politics. Also, cuddle puddle....

I cannot wait to see what comes next.

Setting the board

4.5 stars

Hillary is a billionaire with her own missions. She has a thing for three men who are all on different sides of the game.

We have Lauchlan, Aaron and Kellan all men who are enthralled by Hillary. However, they are all on opposing sides of the same games, or are they?

The tension in this book is off the charts. The spice has a lot of different aspects and was fun to read. I absolutely can't wait to see what happens now that all the pieces are on the board. Will they all find themselves on the same side or will there be a checkmate?

From surviving to thriving

This is a beautiful second chances romance filled with found family.

We have a repressed Omega who was cheated on. Her and her two boys moved away when he went to prison. Her best friend was the woman he cheated with and so the boys have a half sister. These two families found a way to make the best of a bad situation.

This book has an older Omega in it which was nice to see. Plus her pack is all ages and each had something she needed and they needed from her. I love the way this pack came together to heal the most broken pieces.

This is a very sweet omegaverse read and I loved every minute of it

Who doesn't wanna do it in the library?

This book is in a series of books involving a cam company called Behind the Lense.

Lyra is a college student that finds herself needing housing after her dorm burned down. When she finds herself now living in the staff housing with Dr. Barlowe she never expected she would get more than a place to stay.

Cole and Scott are step brothers with a cam channel. This gave them a way to pay for school, explore their sexuality as well as indulge in each other.

Dr. Barlowe works for the college and makes adult movies for Behind the Lens. He isn't a relationship kind of guy but him and his best friend Jonsey have a casual thing. When he is tasked with creating a movie and posing for the calendar with the month of February he quickly decides what he wants to do with the help of the boys.

This may be short but its filled with a compelling story and some very very hot scenes. This includes MM as well as all of the men enjoying Lyra. The scenes are super hot and I'd absolutely watch the movie.

Twisted Love Story?

This is the conclusion to this pitch black duet. These are not good people and their version of love is twisted. If you read book 1 you already know of the laundry list of triggers.

In this you will see how these four's relationship changes and grows. There are plenty of games and lots of blood.

Find out more about who this Angel Eyes is. We also discover what the other rules are.

This book is the perfect ending to this duet. What they all go through in this book really brings a lot of character development. If you like your romance really dark and twisted this is a fantastic read.

The rescue

WOW!! This duet gets all the stars and more.

So this picks up with Atlas just before he gets that desperate plea for help from Mina before she blacked out. The damage this girl suffered at the hands of her mother made me so angry.

Thankfully the guys arrive in time to get her to the hospital. Now they need her because there is work to be done

In this book you will find:
Healing
Betrayal
Secrets
Back story for Mina and the men
Unexpected Twists and Turns
Retribution
Simon
Helen
Elaborate dates
Groveling
Laughter
Anger
Tears
Gifts
And so so much love

I will never forget this duet and it will absolutely have a home on my physical book shelves because this book is so well done. The characters are all so unique and even with the large numbers of men you get to know them all and it's not hard to keep everyone straight.

This duet will be a future reread for sure. I'll be thinking about this one for a long time.

Finding their own way

This book continues right where the last one ended.

In this you can expect to find: gunshot wounds,  betrayal, facing childhood trauma, a battle, unexpected alliances, revelations, spicy smexy scenes and some M/M action, and the expected pregnancy.

This book is intense and I was absolutely here for it. I devoured this and loved how it ended. I can't give much detail because it would ruin the fun.
