Slowest burn with a cliffy
So I absolutely love this series and I can not wait for more.
The characters are diverse and all have their own issues. This book really brings the characters together more and also gives us more insight to each character.
Kit/Kat is our anxiety ridden FMC who is pretending to be a man since she is enrolled at an all male school. She spent all her life prior to the academy being abused in one way or the other. She came from an all human existence to a demon academy.
We have our demon/shifter hybrids who are finding themselves more and more drawn to the new little demon in their group.
This book definitely shows the changes going on with all of the characters. Everyone is slowly having to deal with more emotions surrounding Kit Kat. Kit is also learning to trust and accept touch.
Can they ever let their group know that Kit is actually Kat for real? What is going to happen with these games? What exactly is Kat?
I am so in love with these characters. I seriously want to cuddle Salem by the way. I love learning about hell and demons with Kit. The political parts are intriguing and I typically hate politics. Also, cuddle puddle....
I cannot wait to see what comes next.
