“𝐼’𝓁𝓁 𝒶𝓁𝓌𝒶𝓎𝓈 𝒸𝑜𝓂𝑒 𝓉𝑜 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓇𝑒𝓈𝒸𝓊𝑒 𝒻𝑜𝓇 𝓎𝑜𝓊, 𝒫𝓇𝒾𝓃𝒸𝑒𝓈𝓈.”

This book was so cute, y’all! It’s a low-angst, sweet, adorable romcom centered around Ava (a first time beauty queen) and Jaime (a very stoic and grumpy body guard) who are forced to go on a 3 month cross-country tour together.

Jaime is so obsessed with Ava from the start and it’s precious. He tries to pretend he isn’t, but her incessant nonsense and sunshine personality is clearly irresistible.

Ava is a girl’s girl through and through. She’s frilly, prissy, and fiercely supportive of other women. She is also the bane of Jaime’s existence and loving every second of it.

This is a fun, quick read that I devoured in less than a day. I had so much fun, and I’m interested to see what may be in store for the rest of the series!

Maddox Lovelace has precisely one hobby, and it is Hannah Utley. And WE LOVE THAT FOR HIM.

Y’all the angst in this book is perfection. The YEARNING. The PINING. The MUTUAL OBSESSION. It made my tummy hurt (and that is a compliment). The side characters are also top tier. Hannah’s family is so lovable, the enigmatic Donut Man is a star, and Maddox’s friends are hilarious. I loved them all so much.

Maddox and Hannah’s story is equal parts heartbreaking, sweet, HOT, and heartwarming. I’m a sucker for a second chance, and these two are nothing short of perfection. I love them so so much.

This is such a warm, fuzzy, sweet, and spicy romcom. I’ve loved everything S.J. has written up to this point, and Love, Utley is no exception. I’m beyond ready for the next story.

I’m like 99% sure there are drugs in these books. I cackled like a madwoman at the banter, kicked my feet with glee at the romance, and fanned myself during the spice. Dante and Cherry are hilarious and sweet together. She is an absolute menace when all he wants is to worship his mate. This makes for a lot of shenanigans that are absolutely delightful. I think this was my favorite book in the whole trilogy!

If you’re dipping your toes into the world of paranormal romance, the Mead Mishaps series is a perfect place to start.

“𝒴𝑜𝓊 𝒶𝓇𝑒 𝓅𝓇𝒶𝓎𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝓉𝑜 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓌𝓇𝑜𝓃𝑔 𝒻𝓊𝒸𝓀𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝑔𝑜𝒹 𝒻𝑜𝓇 𝓂𝑒𝓇𝒸𝓎.”

I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to Dravyn, Karys, & Co., but it had to be done 😭

It was so nice to be reunited with all of my favorite Middle Gods and Goddesses (and Moth, that delightful little menace)…if you ignore the impending doom hanging over everyone. Flame & Sparrow left off with the velkyn, Marr, and humans on the brink of a major showdown. Even though Karys barely has a grasp on her new godly powers, she is determined to put herself in harm’s way to try and smooth things over. Aka she stressed me the hell out the entire time!

Dravyn is feeling equal parts miserable and elated these days. He’s so happy to have his Wildfire by his side, but he’s struggling with the ghosts of his past and the pressure to make a decision about the mortal realm. He remains a god-tier (pun intended) Book Boyfriend for me. The way he advocates, supports, and loves Karys is everything.

Valas, Mairu, and Moth continue to be delightful. Andrel continues to be the fucking WORST. Chaos reigns supreme in both realms. The last few chapters of this book took me on a rollercoaster I barely survived, but I had a wonderful time. I miss my friends already ♥️
