Pack Dutton: Part 1: A Dark Omegaverse Novel by Megan Cain

I waited forever to read this one. I got the book while at a book signing back in March but needed to wait until book 2 was out before picking it up and I'm so glad that I waited because of that cliffhanger! Anyway, it is one of the darker omegaverses I've read. It deals a lot with the cult and Hazel's life there. We eventually get out of there, but the cult remains an ongoing issue for the rest of the book like a looming threat, and the book does end on a cliffhanger. The HEA happens in book 2. Even though it was hard to read it was also hard to put down. Plus, I love how it was kind of a second chance/childhood crush for Hazel. I really hope we get a book for both Calla and Logan! I think Calla's getting one but I’m not sure about Logan.

I liked this one and the story overall was so good. But it left me wanting more in the end. Especially when it came to this world. I'm really excited to see Calla's book and I hope Logan gets one too. So hopefully we will get more of the world set up in the sequel books.

I liked that this was a different kind of omegaverse. It was more sci-fi and took on an interesting route. I planned to jump right into book 2 but I just couldn't get into it. I just wanted a little bit more of these vibes in that one. Anyways, it is a unique world.

Obsessed! I can't believe that my obsession with Dear just started back in October, but this one was so good! I need the next book ASAP and I hope it's able to clear everything up or if there are going to be issues that fade into Seraphina's book. I just love a really strong FMC and that's what Dylan is. She's a badass and doesn't let her designation define her. I'm so curious about what's going to happen when the guys find out! They are already so obsessed with her here.

Overall, I loved this story and these characters so much! I cannot wait for Seraphina's book! Anyway, this one was okay, I didn't love it as much as the first book, but I think it did end pretty strong overall. It just kind of felt like the vibes from the first book shifted a bit too much in here. I wish we got to focus a little bit more on the drama, and that the guys groveled a tiny bit more.

It had some strong moments but really the only consistency was the steam. It felt like the steam took over the whole book a little too much for me, which was really sad because it had a very strong plot, and I wish we got to see more of it.

I loved the beginning of this one. It had a really strong setup that I was obsessed with. Plus, we had a lot of details and tension between everyone. It was just a really strong start. I wanted that tension to last, Candice put up more of a fight when it came to their feelings, and the stalking was a bit more of an issue. It just felt like it was a bit of a background thing, and it was easily forgotten before it came back strong at the end. Anyway, Candice was basically a hermit up until she meets the guys, and they realize they are scent matches. I think it was a good debut to a series, but I'm just kind of curious about where the next book is going to go.

I enjoyed the book and love that I finally wrapped up this trilogy. I definitely hate that it took me so long to get around to this one because it was such a good book. I do wish that I read it closer to finishing the first two books because I think I forgot some of the background stuff that happened with the previous main characters. But other than that, it was nice returning to this world. I just wish we had a little bit more chaos in the end.

I liked the book quite a bit. I think it was really unique. I loved the beginning a lot more because it was such a unique story. But in the end, I was left needing a little bit more, especially a little bit more closure. I'm curious to see if it rolls into any of the other books since this i

It wasn't bad, but it did leave me wanting more in the end. I kind of wish that we had more drama or at least more attention on the drama. It wasn't terrible but it did leave me wanting more. But it's book 1 of 2 and you go into it knowing the HEA isn't until book 2 so it's kind of to be expected. I hope the next book wraps it all up and keeps the same vibes.
