It’s an entertaining read, but a bit crazy and the crazy gets more time than the deep. Nice as Audio book though (audible)

Least fav of the series, because mostly sad and about an epidemic. Briar mostly gets to do lab rat stuff, few plant magic. His story could have been so much better an cheerful.

Wonderful sequel in this series, easy and entertaining to read, wonderful story-telling style as usual by TP, which makes it so enjoyable and cozy to read and cuddle up with, without a boring part in it at all, although the plot is comparatively low stakes, but sometimes that's relaxing and exactly what one needs! loved it. on to book for.

It's truly an amazing book, very deep, you learn a lot, the writing is excellent. The ending is logical in every way, fitting even. But it is a sad tragic ending, which I personally never liked, no matter how outstanding the book is.

This is such an enchanting story and it entails a lot of very real and authentic Gaelic legends and stories about fairies, mixed with a bit of magical realism of today. I loved the two main characters, so authentic and seemingly opposites, and how them getting to know each other reveals such deeper character traits. It‘s definitely a winter book to read, and I will get it also in print. The start was a bit slow but with each chapter it got more engaging. There‘s a second book, but not yet published, which I‘ll have to get as soon as it‘s out.
