I should’ve seen the word ‘Darkling’ and just ran the other way round. I mean what could scream

I literally would’ve killed someone (probably me) if this book turned to be bad like the first one, although with each book more plot holes appear, especially with the power system; specifically ALINA’s powers (the Darkling too) but all of that didn’t bother me WHAT REALLY BOTHERED ME WAS //MAL\\

I REALLY like don’t see why the author can’t just snap his head off already, he’s such a whiny little shit that shouldn’t really consume any part of Alina’s heart nor brain and I feel like he’s hindering her like (I know he’s like a lifeline to her and that she’d be going apeshit already if it wasn’t for her pure love and adoration for him).

What I loved about this book was:
1- Nikolai lantsov
2- everything about Nikolai lantsov
3- every little detail of Nikolai lantsov
4- finally I’ve gathered enough heart to love Alina (she finally lived up to whom she should be NOT SOME STUPID GIRL IN LOVE erhm)
5- Tamar and Tolya
6- the last 10% of the book because that’s mostly when things happened (the author kept milking things through the pages tbh but I still liked this one way more than the first one)

Over and Done. Can’t wait to start the last one

I honestly can’t believe this is over, I wasn’t even believing that fact that I started it in the first place so to be here at the end… what a journey right ?

I started the series really unsure of what to expect, The first book disappointed me to the core, the second tried to carry the first but failed and the third… the third just finally delivered.

The pacing was nice from the first two chapters things were heated and going—never a dull moment and I loved it because I almost died of boredom from the annoying fillers. What I loved the most was Alina actually fighting (not talking about the end) her taking the stand, planning and trying to solve problems that was what I wanted from the previous books and I finally got it.

I had favorited a lot of parts throughout the story, so much PARTS oh god. This was going so smoothly and I loved it I truly, really loved it. I’ll write a proper opinion when I gather my thoughts but for now I’ll just say: To the end I never liked you Mal and I’ll never ever like you Mal, although I’ll have to give it to you for your so called sacrifice but I will not fucking like you.

I CAN FINALLY START THE SIX OF CROWS.

If you prick us, do we not bleed? If you tickle us, do we not laugh? If you poison us, do we not die? And if you wrong us, shall we not revenge?—William Shakespeare

Am I upsetting anyone with those five star ratings to this book series ? Because I could care less. This series is just too good like the details and the detail of every kill along with why the are being killed is just woah, Logan is fighting his way to unravel all the mystery around the town 10 years ago and Lana is slicing through those people who buried her family under false accusations.

Can’t wait to start the next one

I feel like a bucket full of icy water was just thrown over my head— in the good way of course.
You literally are not allowed to give this series/last book less than 5 stars.

The author was not done with us even around the end; throwing in that unexpected plot twist sheesh talk about a bucket full of ice man unbelievable. I’ve literally loved and hated every moment of this series it was just perfect in every way, the characters had this much depth that was built from book one that kept me so hanged on finding out how things wrap around each one.

This series was pretty gruesome so I advice you to check the TWs before proceeding and Just Dive in already come on.

I actively want my 10 hours of listening to this book back.

Was I expecting too much of this ? Yes I’ve already read on the books by the author ‘Booklovers’ one that I loved so I was giddy with excitement when I stumbled on the audiobook of this one since I can’t actively read after my operation.

I’m actually confused, I’m currently laughing at… the book. What i just listened to. What was this ? Why is the main character going in circles ? Like January would say something then 2 pages later she would say the same thing but in another set of sentences.

Is it an obligation to make authors write over 300 pages ? (This is a serious question) I think this could’ve been wrapped in much smaller number of pages. THIS BOOK IS SO OVERHYPED FOR NOTHING. It was so repetitive and I really wholeheartedly disliked it.

I would not recommend.
