Thank you NetGalley for the Opportunity to read this book early.
I first hear of this book from someone giving a partial review and knew it sounded right in my interest zone and I was not disappointed I devoured this book and can not wait for the next one. Following Vaasa and her personal growth as she learns to work through her past embrace this part of her that she has been taught to hate was just such a wonderful experience. I loved that this Marriage of Convivence had a Female grump and male sunshine and all the banter and laughs I needed to keep me rooting for them the whole time. I found that I loved the side Characters even if we didn't get a whole lot of time with them or their stories I feel like we will in future books and there was enough there to make me care for all of them and root for the down fall of others. All in all this book was great and I think everyone should read it if you are looking for a fun slow burn Fantasy Romance with politics and scheming and personal growth along with just enough swooning and fun to go with it.

I was honored to receive this book to read and review.

This was my First Cora Kent book, and I truly enjoyed it. It is a Mafia Romance with Forced Proximity, enemies to lovers, captive captor relations. I did hope for a little more of the Mafia action side of things, but with a book this length, I think we got a good focus on the Relationship building as well as a decent plot to go along with it. I can not wait to read the next book in the Terlizzies books and see what fun we get to have there.

First thank you so much to NetGalley for the chance to listen to this Audiobook in Advance.

This book was everything I could have wanted for a third book in this series I was I think under the same impression most of us were that this was going to be a trilogy but I am not upset to know that we get more time in this world and with these characters! I feel like the Narrator of this book did a wonderful job at portraying the emotions and scenes throughout the story so that we as the listeners could be entranced in the story rather than easily distracted. Now about this book, since it is the 3rd in a series I will just say that I feel Alex Aster did a great job of giving us a great balance between the growth of the Relationships growing as well as making sure the plot was moving forward everything had a purpose nothing felt over-explained or drawn out or tossed in just to make the story drag on and I love that in her writing. After so long of waiting, I am happy to have read this book but am now anxiously waiting for the next!!!!
