Ok lots of thoughts where to start!
OMG this book was great, but being who I am it didn't get a full 5 stars because I would have like the connection and the "romance" with feelings to take way longer to develop, to let it build and let the tension grow. I would have loved to have seen Charlie be undercover and doing her thing as a strong independent women trying to bring down this organization and finding herself without Nix being protective and possessive 2 days after meeting her. The rushing into and immediately falling for each other made it hard to believe in the relationship lasting and in the end if felt like we had a FMC who needed a man to tell her what to do and when in order for her to feel valid and to be successful and that's not who she was suppose to be. However if you take the romance aspect out of it and focus on the plot of the story it was well written thought out and gave had a good twist at the end. I liked the way the author was not afraid to touch on the darker aspects of sex trafficking and the fact that there is always more to a crime organization than 1 man and a few goons. She really made sure that there were levels and lots of moving pieces in order to make it successful and believable.
