I loved reading this self-help book. It's very relatable and extremely usefull. Also, it's so of this time with all the fucks that are given. The concept of this book is something I've been applying to my life for a while, but not in the extend that the book goes to. Reading on a deeper level about this subject was insightful, and I'm going to apply points from the book to my life.

This was a great book! It made me feel happy and sad and everything in between. For Auggie I felt very bad at times, but I was proud of how things turned out. However different he is from the outside, he still is the same as everyone else, no more and no less. Beautiful book.

This book was better than I thought. After being a bit disappointed by the YA I've been reading, this one wasn't disappointing at all. I liked the difference of each character, and the mystery of the death had actually a good story around it. Not mad at all.

This girl is the most depressing, negative person. 90% is talk about how bad life is and how she deserves to die or be punished and every other negative thought , and 10% is some actual action we get. It started to really annoy me. And the ending was disappointing. Beside that, we get some male characters that have the expected good looks and romantic interest. I don't know yet if I will continue/finish the series, since I'm the most excited about this.

Great book and great story. It was like I was submersed into the late fifties, early sixties. Everything was told so detailed, it felt like I was there. Also loved the reference to Derry and the time around IT. The story was also fascinating. The concept of 'what would have happened if....' was used so well.

I don't know what to think. Some moments the story was really good and there was a nice portion of action. Other parts I was just bored and skimmed through. I like the concept of this series, but feel like I need to be triggered all the time with action and twists. Hope that I can find more interest in the next book in the series!

Good ya book, with a more original plot than I see in most ya books. Enjoyed the story, and the mystery behind the murders. Will read more of this series.

This book was kindly provided to me by Edelweiss.

I wasn't a big fan of this book. Murder cases are something that I very much enjoy reading about, but this was so immensely tough to get through. Even with only 198 pages. All the chapters were so long-winded, that I found myself skipping words and sentences a lot. The books talks about the case of the murder of an unpopular man, and we follow the development of the case and trial. There are 7 parts:
1. Prosecution
2. Investigation
3. Analysis
4. Defence
5. Summing up
6. Verdict
7. Conclusion

The first 2 chapters are tediously long, filling up almost 70 percent of the whole book. The analysis was so factual, just pointing out the facts of the case. The rest of the chapters were easier to read, but didn't add to my satisfaction. Unfortunately not for me.

I listened to the audiobook.

The story began good. I was intrigued, curious about what everything was about. From the moment we see the two main characters meet, things went downhill. It started to get boring for me, and too predictable. Bad things are supposed to be going to happen, but you just know immediately that everything will end fine. So I couldn't care that much about that. Maybe the fact that I listened to the audiobook app from my library, which you can't put on x2 speed, is one of the reasons I struggled with the book.

The setting of the book is one of the things that I found interesting. Poor parts of the city are having the plague and the reason why it happened intrigued me. Also the way the Republic thinks and acts is something that makes the book more interesting. Though that ended up being about it for the story. The characters were too obvious, which made it boring and predictable.
