Finally got to this series. I have to say it was okay. Wasn't blown away by it, which disappointed me a bit. The story was interesting, getting to read about Greek mythology and learning about it along the way (haven't spend much time studying Greek mythology yet). Also I did consider that this book is for a younger audience and is definitely written that way. Beside that point, I found a lot of the choices and events in the book predictable. Almost everything was already obvious to me before it was pointed out in the book. I will read the rest of the series, since I did enjoy it.

First October Halloween read of the year! I decided to read this book, because it's shorter than a lot of the other Stephen King books. Having many other reads as well, it seemed like a nice read beside the others.

The movie of this book is one I haven't seen yet, since I don't watch horror movies since I find them too scary. For some reason I do like to read horror books. Stephen King writes so lively, that I feel completely engrossed into his books when I read them. When you can write a book that makes you scared, you do have an immense gift as a writer.

The thought about being stuck in this mist is terrifying. Just the thought makes me shiver, and next time their will be mist where I live I will think completely different about it. The things in the mist sounded terrifying, and truly nightmare material.

Still after finishing this book, I have so many questions. What and why? Also, the ending couldn't be more open than this. I can't stand it.

I was conflicted after reading this book. Since the netflix movie came out, I put this book forward in my tbr to get to see the movie afterwards. The whole setup of the book was messy. Lara Jean has a box with love letters, which get send towards all the people they are addressed to. This is brought out in the beginning of the book. We never see this whole mystery back until the end of the book. I expected more parts in between where Lara would search for clues to find the person who did this. Also, the whole book is basically centered around a love triangle. That's all we get. I missed more in-depth talk about all the boys and their letters.

On the other side, I can't say that this wasn't a good read. It was fun to read and the chapters went by quickly. Also, I liked the development of the relationship with Peter, and how her family got around was very cozy and inspirational. Maybe the whole synopsis blew me in a different direction with the book, which made me rate it lower than I otherwise would have. Will read the other books in the future.

Finally finished this big boy! As well as all the other books, I loved this one also. Great story and gosh how I hated Umbridge.

I heard so many good things about this book, and I was finally ready to read it.

Murder mysteries are one of those genres I can read anytime of the year. When I started reading this, I thought I would be reading a classic murder mystery. It turned out this would be a whodunnit with a twist.

I wanted to love this so bad. I was intrigued by the story in the beginning, but lost total interest throughout the middle of the book. The story got quite complicated with all the characters and I couldn't keep everyone apart anymore. I had no idea in which body Aiden was anymore and in which was Anna.

At the end the story picked up again and it got interesting again, experiencing some twists that I didn't see.

From all the characters, there was one that freaked me out most. The footman is a brutal character, and I can even feel the pain between my ribs from his knife.

I felt like the story could be more extensive. Why not explain more about Aiden's background and Anna's background. Once the plague doctor explained what was happening, I became so curious about what has been happening before the solving of the murder.

I ended up thinking the book was okay. I didn't love it, I didn't hate it. I had moments where I was blown away, and moments I was struggling to keep my eyes on the book.

The moment I start reading Harry Potter, I'm just in the ultimate world. It's what every reading experience should feel like.

1 to go! I'm so excited that I've almost finished this entire series for the first time!
