I’m enamored with this book. I genuinely loved this story and the characters. I like the relationship Tana has with her family, her friends, her coven, her life, Wolfe, all of it.

The premise of this book is incredibly sweet, heartbreaking, and relevant to our times. I loved the Spanish that was weaved into this novel along with how real this story felt. However, the way it fell flat for me is how quick some of the pacing was. At times it felt a little startling and off. But overall, this is a book about love and acceptance and this book does that well.

I loved the audio version of this. having a full cast truly made the audibook wonderful. The entire story was interesting and had me until we found out what happened. I felt so... let down. It felt weak and silly.

Genuinely enjoyed the heck out of this book. It kept me on my toes, was interesting, mysterious, and I loved the Greek myth connections. I am so excited for the next one because the ending was fantastic

I was told I didn’t need to read the curse breaker series to read this one but I think that’s false. I was pretty confused quite a few times on things that were mentions of the first series. Im still a little lost on some of them.

However, overall, this was a good read. It was slow at first but a lot of the time I was questioning who to trust. I want to see what happens in the next one to see if my trust falls differently if given more information.

Listen, everything you think happens in this book, does. It is incredibly predictable, pretty unbelievable, and so silly. But it’s good fun. It’s a quick romance read that kept my attention. And that’s enough for me.

I just had zero wish to keep reading. I found it boring. And then I read recaps on what happened in this book and the rest of the trilogy. I would have been livid to read a trilogy and it end the way it did.

This was a lot of fun and really unexpected. I am super happy I listened to it versus reading it because I think the voice cast was incredible and it made this more enjoyable than the printed version would have been. But it was a fun story and the characters were so different from each other. I really enjoyed this and am happy I listened to it.
