The premise of this book is incredibly sweet, heartbreaking, and relevant to our times. I loved the Spanish that was weaved into this novel along with how real this story felt. However, the way it fell flat for me is how quick some of the pacing was. At times it felt a little startling and off. But overall, this is a book about love and acceptance and this book does that well.
