I really loved this book. It was such an intimate look into the lives of Jacqueline Kennedy and those around her. Of course the ending had devastating tales of what we all know happened, nearly bringing me to tears. Overall, I learned a lot and enjoyed my time.

If you know anything about my reading preferences, I hate paranormal explanations for the things that happen in books. That’s why this is getting 3 stars. I honestly would’ve have just love it if it was the horror version of Mean Girls, which is exactly what it was giving until the end/point of “explanation”

I was not expecting to like this as much as I did. I always struggle reading things that have a lot of hype around them. I’m lucky I found this book in a used book sale for really cheap to give me the push to buy and read it. The characters are well-developed and so very lovable. The plot kept me engaged and was just the right amount of sad but hopeful. I will definitely be keeping this one on my shelves.

I honestly hated this. I thought it would be a fun read for October, but it did nothing but bore my every time I tried to read. It also turned out to be a poorly executed concept which was really disappointing for how classic the story is.

Fun and flirty. Normally I don’t like romance novels where one of the characters having children is one of the main features of their personality, but I actually thought it was sweet in this book.

Curiosity board the cat with this one. I only finished because I wanted to know who did it, but it was a trudge to get there. Plus it turns out that I guessed it from the beginning although I never understood why (and I still don’t think i understand why lol)

I’m surprised I’ve never read this before. The rhyming scheme was quite interesting and definitely kept me interested. It doesn’t hurt that the poem is quite short.

When I bought this book at the uses book store, I was sure I would enjoy it, but I did not see myself enjoying it as much as I did. Although I literally predicted absolutely nothing right, I had a lot of fun. The only thing I hated was when God was literally talking to one of the characters. That was super cringy to be honest. I’m definitely into the seafaring vibes and I will be reading the next book at some point!

Righ in the middle. Not bad, not great. Guessed the ending from very early on, but the journey wasn’t in vain just because I already knew.
