When I bought this book at the uses book store, I was sure I would enjoy it, but I did not see myself enjoying it as much as I did. Although I literally predicted absolutely nothing right, I had a lot of fun. The only thing I hated was when God was literally talking to one of the characters. That was super cringy to be honest. I’m definitely into the seafaring vibes and I will be reading the next book at some point!
Graphic: Death, Infidelity, and Injury/Injury detail
Moderate: Grief, Death of parent, Pregnancy, Abandonment, and Classism
Minor: Drug use, Violence, and Alcohol
Quite a lot of religious imagery and talk
