A Wolf in the Garden by Allegra Hall

This book was just so beautiful. I kept having to stop to swoon over the relationship between Van and Ellie.
There are so many things about this book that made me love it, the setting/world-building. It's so interesting. I want more books from this world. I wanna know about the second realm, the dragon shifter and Van's sister. There are just so many things I want to know about. If I could be thrown into a book world, I think this might be the one I pick.
I was really worried going in because of all the history between Van and Ellie, 9 years of silence, broken hearts, and so much grief and guilt. I wasn't sure how they were going to resolve things. I didn't want the past to be something that caused a lot of drama and heartache, preventing them from having a future, but the way Allegra handled it all was beautiful. I love it when characters are emotionally mature and good at communication. It wasn't something that dragged on for the whole book, which I LOVED.
Van and his parents, oh man. I cried so much for his family. I hated his dad in the beginning but like, he really grew on me. I LOVE his mom. I cannot wait for their book.
The story itself, the Fae drama, and the mystery magic deer hunting Ellie, I was really invested in the story. I wanted to know more! I was a little sad we didn't get more answers, but it is also left open, so hopefully, future books will give us more details! I appreciated all the Maori representation, it's a culture I knew nothing about before, but I felt like it was so lovingly included in the story. This whole book was just obviously written with such love and care and I enjoyed reading it so much.
I could just spend all day talking about how swoony Van and Ellie are. They are so perfect for each other and the way they were so open and raw. The spice was just, *chefs kiss* so good. So much knotting haha.

Healing the Orc's Heart by Lyonne Riley

Blizzek! I was so excited he got his own book. Blizz and Nera are just the sweetest. Nera, totally ignoring that there is a full-on war going on near her farm, takes in Blizzek when she finds him injured, and in the process of healing, they can't ignore the universe pulling them together.
I love a hurt x comfort story. This was just my cup of tea!
I was FREAKING out when Blizzek was being an idiot and left, and I may have cried a little ( a lot).
Nera and Blizzek are so good together when they get it all figured out, Blizzek is so supportive and cares so much for her. I love how they take care of each other and the little family they create. They healed each other.
With all the business with Agkar, I was stressed. I don't want to include all the details and spoil the story for anyone so I won't go into too many details. But I love Agkar, and I am so happy he has his own story. He is a good man. ♥
I'm obsessed with this whole series

I adore Jamie and Bowie. This whole book was the best experience; I laughed, swooned, and cried.
Jamie, the grumpy, uptight doctor, is hiding his hockey past/injury and is stuck in a rut. Then along comes cocky yet adorably anxious rookie Archie Bowman ♥
The banter between these two was great; Archie was just nonstop goofing, and I ate it up. I really liked seeing the sensitive side of him, the side that was scared he was not worth keeping around and just missed his home. (I cried at the grocery store). Both the characters were well-written and felt so real.
I don't have a favorite character because I loved everyone. Even the side characters, I was writing notes to myself reading this like I want everyone to get their own book, lol. Kate, Bowies brothers, Aaron and Zach, Rowan! Oh, there were so many juicy little bits about the other characters that have me so ready for the whole series.
This book was a blast, I was so happy to read it and I felt really lucky to have been given an ARC to read and review :)

"...he’s mine. Mine to devour. Mine to pleasure. Mine to claim. All mine."
OONA!!! She is such a queen; I adored her, haha. I kinda wanna find myself a swamp and test my luck.
This was such a fun book. I laughed so much at Nick and Oona; He was so grossed out at first, and look how he fell. Not that I blamed him for getting grossed out over her fermented flies-ew. But she is a swamp lady, and she is so full of kindness and love. I felt so bad for her, being alone her whole life in such a harsh environment, yet she is the sweetest angel.
Nick handled everything surprisingly well. He was left for dead, taken in by a swamp lady, and living in a lagoon, and I gotta say, he was so nice about it all. He really had a good heart, and I liked how sweet and protective he was of his girl. (I also LOVED that he called her Sweetheart lol, it was just too cute). There is a lot of very nice spicy, and I loved the size difference (she is almost 8tf, and he's normal man-sized). I liked that things didn't just magically work the same for them and that the size was addressed, but it was not an issue for them. :)
The side characters were goofy (Maurice is kinda serious, and IDK if I trust him cause he kinda scares me. WHY IS HE SO NICE)
Overall, this book was such a sweet, spicy time. I want to keep Oona forever and have her carry me around like a baby. I loved that it had a cute callback to No Sugar Coating it! I hope that the next in the series has a callback to Oona and Nick :)

Capturing the Orc's Heart by Lyonne Riley

This is one of my favorites in the whole series. I love the relationship between the captain and her lieutenant. Something about how nothing works out perfectly for them, but they find a way in the end to have a happy, loving relationship. It was hard-earned, too! There is a good bit of angst in this book. It was pretty great, especially with the first spicy scene in the cave. I was screaming at both of them to just talk to each other and admit their feelings, they are both so stubborn!
I LOVED Agkar from Healing the Orc Heart and was excited to see him find his little human to love. He deserved it after everything. The captain, Zirelle, is such a boss! She is strong and stubborn and just really perfect for her orc. I particularly loved that she wasn't the mothering type, even after she had a kid with Agkar. I just really appreciated the representation, and I LOVE the vision of Daddy Agkar. I can't help but just adore him so much.

This was the most fun of the Trollkin Series so far! It was like a mini jungle adventure, and it was great. Lo'zar was so cute and cocky. I loved him immediately, but I love how he was willing to give up everything for Rimi (Ree-Mee♥). The world lore in this book! I want to know more! I hope we get to find out more about the things we discover in the next books of the series. It definitely makes me feel invested in the story and plot. ( I am trying not to give any spoilers!)
I was so heartbroken for everything Rimi went through. I loved her; I thought that, given everything, she was actually really strong and brave. She opened up and gave her heart and trust to Lo'zar; they were perfect. I hope that in later books, we get more glimpses of this sweet family. Another super fun cozy adventure, I am just obsessed with this series.
