I think this was one of my favorite reads from the year!!

Max and Mona are just the best characters. I loved the struggle that Max was living with, learning to accept his sexual preferences while also learning to accept his succubus genetics! I loved the secondary storyline of the PI mystery that has such a scary little twist.

Mona’s journey in this book is awesome, she is struggling with depression which I can honestly relate to, but she’s forcing herself to get out and expand her comfort zones. She’s trying to connect with friends while also second-guessing her priority in her friends lives (I really love her internal dialogue)

I ADORE Grace, and I hope she gets her own book or novella ( we do get a peak of her in Love Lights!) I enjoyed the characters, and I want to hear more stories about Moonvale.

Super fun, sexy spicy read and honestly I would buy this book just for the cover, it’s beautiful!!

10/10 will read again :)

Esme and her men♥
This was the most spice-filled of the series, but it's got plenty of fantastic plot too ♥

Esme is on the run from the war and winds up wounded, hiding in Drazak and Han'zir's barn. They are less than happy but take her in as their new puppy.

I loved the relationship between Drazak and Han'zir; it was sweet but missing something, and that was Esme! The angst was so good, and I loved the longing they each went through. They all wanted each other, but the guys didn't think they should want a human, and Esme didn't want to butt into their existing relationship. I love a language barrier trope, in this case, it caused some drama, but it made the whole story so engaging. I knew that the guys would make things better but my heart was very sad for a bit.

They were all willing to give up so much to be together. It was a beautiful little story, and the spice was SO hot. I love the way they work all together, they really were made for each other.

This series gets better and better with every installment, and I am invested. There wasn't as much lore in this one as far as the magic or the mystery of humans and Trollkin being mates.

I’m a fucking troll. An old, crotchety troll with one broken tusk and a mean streak a mile wide. She would never see me the way I see her.

This was one of the best in the whole Trollkin Series! Simka and Jar'kel are perfect for each other.

Simka is fighting to get assistance to go hunt for the wild orcs who came through her village and stole her sister. Jar'kel wants to get out of the cold and get his job handled, so it makes sense to team up with the girl who says she knows where the wild orcs have gone. But things don't go as planned, and they end up in a fake dating situation! Only things aren't fake for long.

I ate up all the angst in this book; it wasn't too much, but it was just the right sprinkling of it. I really loved how stubborn Jar'kel was. I wanted him to stop fighting his desires and be with Simka, but his fears were really understandable. He's a grumpy old Troll, and he felt like Simka was too young to want to tie herself to him. The pain and angst they go through dancing around their want for each other... When they finally get together, it's...amazing.

Simka seems tough and independent, but at the same time, she can be vulnerable with him. They are both such strong, independent people, but they lean on each other, and it's really precious.

Simka is such a good sister; she is willing to give everything to get her sister back. I was worried because, for a second there, I thought their relationship wouldn't recover. Simka did so much to find her! But I felt the end was good and I was just so happy that everyone was happy in the end

So, the world lore in this series is one of my favorite bits. I am also interested in knowing what is happening, and we get a lot of info here! More magic, and I'm excited to see what will happen with the Tollkin and the humans.

This was just the sweet, spicy read I wanted! If you are in a slump, pick up this book because it is just the right novella to get you back♥
Nate is just really adorable, but VITUS. I never thought I'd be so attracted to a chicken man, but here we are. I loved how sweet yet dirty Vee is. The whole story is a little silly, a lot sweet, and SO spicy. 10/10!

This book was so sweet. It's a sweet sapphic, kinda cozy, kinda scary summer camp adventure!

I wasn't sure how I initially felt about Avery, but I grew to love her. She was sweet and trying hard to be better than her father taught her. I really appreciated her journey, and I just wanted to hug her and Cricket so close! Cricket was my favorite, and she is just so stinking adorable!! She gave me all the good feelings. I especially loved how she would call Avery Aves and Sweet Girl ♥ I love sweet nicknames.

The story itself was nice, I loved the mystery and danger and it had me eager to keep reading. I don't always love the miscommunication trope, but in this case, I felt like it was done well. I was so frustrated on behalf of Cricket! I was like yelling at my Kindle, "LISTEN YALL!" Broke my heart a little at the end, but it all worked out. Avery's little glow-up made me so happy. It was like seeing a friend finally find themselves.

This was a great read, and I was so happy to get an ARC of it to read and review

I loved the premise of this book; super up my alley!

I was a bit disappointed with the way Ronan treated Justine. I wanted him to cherish and adore her, and it was feeling more like he was just using her for s*x at times while playing with her feelings until he realized he wanted to be with her.
I kept hoping that I'd get the redemption I wanted for him, that he would have a big moment where he realized he was being the worst kind of grumpy, and I'd get my groveling. There is some groveling but I didn't feel like it was enough to excuse any of his behavior. I think, in this case, he was just too much of a Grumpy Bosshole and didn't show enough vulnerability/emotion.

Justine is so sweet, she is so sunshine, and I appreciate that. I can see where she was just so lost in her feelings for Ronan and kept hoping that If she stuck with him, he would open up and return her feelings, but I was upset that she let him treat her the way he did at times.

Now, there are lots of bits I really did enjoy. The book is hot as heck, and I LOVED that Justine was learning to love her sexual wants and that there wasn't anything wrong with her drive or how often she wanted to do it. Her ex (not in the book, just mentioned a few times) seems like the absolute worst! There is A LOT of spice, and it was all really good.

I'm looking forward to the second book in the series and I really enjoyed the little peek we get at the end of the book! I think in this book, the MMC just wasn't my kinda guy, but I'm excited for the next.

I am thankful to have gotten an ARC copy of this book in return for my honest review.
