“beautiful world where are you” is an excellent book.

at first, i was a little bit shocked by the fact that rooney doesn’t use quotation marks. i got used to it though.

rooney follows the life of 4 individuals and their problems. the issues of love, sex, work and family are written in a way that is easily understood.

i loved it.

I haven't been this hooked to a book in a long time! The world building was beautifully written - it didn't take me long to get it (unlike that of Shadows and Bones). so looking forward to the next book!

It was the second work I've read by representatives of the "lost generation" (All Quiet on the Western Front - E.M. Remarque - I enjoyed that one a bit more). Given that his style is built on the principle of the iceberg, it made the reading a bit more interesting. I had to concentrate while reading because Hemingway relied on the reader to understand many things from context. Again, it was something new and I'm glad I read the book.
