This just felt really unnecessary. I didn't think we really gained anything from this instalment

It's books like Vladimir that make me think I may be too dumb to enjoy reading.
I keep seeing "darkly funny" as a way to describe this book and I feel like I must have read a completely different story.
I absolutely hated being in the main characters mind. She somehow turned everything towards her age, her looks or her weight. She is the personification of "just say you hate women". She tore apart almost every women she interacted with. I'm sure this was all intentional, but that didn't make it any less insufferable.
The writing style was so boring and the only time I really felt interested was when there were multiple characters interacting, apart from a scene where our main character was speaking to Vladimir and dumped almost a whole page of uninterrupted monologue on us. That was mind numbing.

She and Her Cat is a beautiful collection of stories following women and the cats who love them.
Despite only being 154 pages each character feels so whole and fleshed out. Each woman has her own life and her own intriguing and relatable back story. Each storyline intertwines in such charming ways.
It was emotional, funny and heart-warming all at once.
Whether you enjoy reading about women and their interactions with the world, or you're an animal lover, this book will definitely become a favourite

Dark, twisted and horrifying.
Dark Mode is a thriller that also doubles as a reminder of the horrors that lay hidden on the internet. The scare factor from this book comes from the fact that it is an awful reality. It's not a storyline you can seperate yourself from, this could easily be you or someone you know.
It is definitely not for the squeamish or faint of heart

I loved this!
This was a great reccomendation from a co-worker.
I loved all of our main characters and their banter. Their love for each other was to die for and watching their relationships with Delilah grow was heartwarming

There are a few issues I had with this book, but otherwise I really enjoyed it. I liked getting some more back story for the characters and I quite liked the plot.
I did not enjoy the first time we see Isolde shift. It felt like I was reading a wattpad fanfic of some kind. Seeing the shift during battle was a lot more palatable but not overly enjoyable for me
I also didn't like the smut in this books anywhere near as much as the first. It was repetitive and boring. I quickly got sick of seeing it again and again after every conflict when I just wanted to continue on with the plot.
