I love reading about Lumikki Andersson's unusual adventures. Such a great character and action packed scenes that get your heart racing! Can't wait to read the next one!

I still really like Lumikki as a character, but this book didn't grab me as much as the first did. The mystery was interesting enough, but I think it may have been underdeveloped and overwhelmed by the love story around which much of Lumikki's back story in this novel is centered. Part of the weakness of this book for me was that I wasn't as invested in the love story as I was in the bullying story depicted in the first novel.

هذا الجزء من السلسلة يتحدث عن سفر لوميكي في إجازتها إلى براغ في منتصف الصيف الحارق حيث تنتظرها هناك مفاجاة غير سارة او متوقعة ، من بين الحشود في مدينة براغ تظهر فتاة من العدم مدعية انها شقيقة لوميكي من والدها، فيبدأ الشك بمساورة لوميكي عن شخصية والدها الحقيقة وعن كونها لا تعلم شيئا عنه بالفعل وأن علاقتهما ليست بتلك القرب .
وفِي أثناء رحلتها للتعرف على شقيقتها المزعومة تجد انها انخرطت في جماعة دينية غريبة ذو معتقدات أغرب وما زاد وحشتها ان رئيس الجماعة يخبئ سرا دفينا سرا أزهق الكثير من الأرواح .

في مخاطرة كبيرة لإنقاذ ارواح الأبرياء تجد لوميكي نفسها في متاهة ، بمن تثق؟ أين ستذهب ؟ هل حقا لينكا هي شقيقتها؟.

من تستطيع حبك كل تلك الأحداث بكل تلك البراعة هي فقط سالا سيموكا.

Second book in a trilogy. The story is a bit awkward plot-wise, and I don't know if it's a cultural thing or just the author. No, it must be the author, because the series that this book reminds me of are the Lisbeth Salander books by Stieg Larsson, and he was Scandinavian, too. Still, good read.

Not as good as the first book; can't wait for the last one to tie it all together.

DNF @20%. I couldn't do it. I tried multiple times to finish it, but it was just as bad as the first one. The main character was too boring to be able to follow.



I wouldn't have requested this one had I read the first one before...but no I requested them at the same time.

Very enjoyable ya/youth thriller! Loved reading it in Finnish, the original, since it included lines in Swedish and English as well, just like many youths when they talk. Extra plus for revealing more about Liekki, the trans male.
