The ending made me cry.. I don't enjoy books that make me cry.. mainly because I usually listen to them at work and people tend to think I'm odd if I randomly burst out in tears... and thats exactly what I did today. So my coworkers now think I'm crazy.. or dying.
I did however really enjoy this book. It wasn't as great as the last one but lets face facts; no one will ever be as great as Hades. Apollo was great in his own way. He was totally enamored with Pamela and that was quite adorable.
And now I'm cutting this review off because I have a crying baby trying to pound on my keyboard. Over all the book was fantastic!

PC Cast is one of my faves. I loved how this book picked up with Apollo after being "rejected" by Lina! And Artemis, my personal fave goddess in mythology, is a badass turned Romantic. Awesome book!

Pamela last long-term relationship was an abusive one. Ever since, she has thrown herself into growing her interior decorating business. She is finally given a chance for a semi-vacation when she travels to Las Vegas for a new client, a quirky but supremely rich author. As Pamela is researching for her new job, she invokes an ancient magic wishing that she could find romance. Meanwhile, (back at the ranch), the ancient Greek gods are given the opportunity to spend time in the mortal world during the weekends. Apollo and his sister Artemis are tied to Pamela through the ancient magic spell. Apollo finds that he has a depth of feelings for Pamela that he has never had for any other woman before. However, he must keep his identity secret. Will Pamela be able to find a way to trust and love Apollo, especially when he is hiding such a big secret?
I enjoyed the story. It was steamy, magical, and compelling. Pamela is a pain in the butt though. Her constant stomping around and demand to be independent, while also being ineffectual is annoying, I understand that it is a realistic development of character. The quirky author came across as super creepy and not endearing, but I desperately wanted to like the guy. Even though Apollo is a pompous butt head, he is perfectly matched with Pamela.

I read this quite some time ago and plan too again becuase i remember loving it. It's interesting to read the story that mixes present day with some of the most well known figures of greek myths. It is the characters of the gods and goddess' that make for an interesting story considering they all have some sort of quirks to them. A different take on any kind of romance book I've ever read that is also well written. It's unique and definately worth the read.

Overall, I liked this book but it did not keep my interest like the other books in the series. I liked the main characters and I liked the descriptions of Las Vegas. I would definitely recommend this book to someone who wants a light read that has some romance and fantasy thrown in.

Review:
its the best book of the ENTIRE series. Like, it was the most recent book i read because i read them out of order but i still consider this one the most romantic. The ending is just so bittersweet that i feel sad and wistful at the same time. and when i say bittersweet i MEAN bittersweet. i cried like twice in the book and, for me, its a rare thing to cry once. love this book with all my heart and felt really single after reading it.
Edit: I take back my statement. Crying is not that rare but it has to be extra sad with heartbreaking cherry on top for me to start crying. Sometimes, authors just add the extra bittersweet ending to the story to just Niagara Falls the crap out of me.
