I have always been interested in Zen philosophy and mindfulness, so I picked up this small book to learn more about how to peacefully resolve conflicts in my life. I found the beginning and middle to be a bit repetitive and abstract, but I appreciated the practical and applicable strategies in the last section “Practices for Peace and Reconciliation.”

excessively repetitive, they always follow similar formatting and moral, but you can give it a try if u looking for quick self-help mindfulness book.

tiny books! my heart loves them immensely. it was quick and easy to read! in all seriousness, how to fight was a wonderful book that brought some much-needed introspection. it provided more perspective to anger and understanding it. while i wouldn’t say it applies to all dynamics and situations, i will still carry pieces of it as a reminder to be a more understanding and mindful individual.

If I typed the quotes that stood out I would be just copying the entire book. It's tiny but not something you'd want to read all at once in fact it took me about 6 months, just reading a page whenever I felt I needed it. It's like most other Thich What Hanh books. Little thoughts on the human condition. This one focuses on when you have challenges with other people how to heal your own suffering so you can heal the rift with the other person etc. Highly recommend.

I feel like people should just read this instead of The Alchemist. Thich Nhat Hanh is always great.

I enjoyed this book. I learned a lot of skills that I hope to take into my daily life. The drawings are also beautiful!
