Powerful Healing

It was slow to get into for me. I love the practical ways in which is helps us apply this knowledge for fighting fair and working through our own anger and suffering. I would recommend this book to families. This could do so much healing inside of the home and in small communities. I give this book 5 stars because of the power it could wield if applied properly.

"How to Fight" could be called "How to Have Strong Emotions" and it would be equally if not more accurate. Excellent for mindfulness practice and meditations. Not a one-sitting read but a read in perpetuity.

A friend gave me How to Walk which I enjoyed, so I picked this up from the library on impulse, then bought a copy to keep. I was surprised at how directly it spoke to me about managing feelings of anger and replacing them with compassion, for yourself and for others. It operates as a parenting book, family therapy, workplace conflict resolution, meditation guide, etc. Get a copy for your rage-filled friends.
