First and foremost....If you are straight laced with no sense of humor, this book is probably not for you. However, if you have a unique, out of the ordinary way of coping, you'll love this book. Personally, I use humor a lot as my coping mechanism and loved this book. I felt it was refreshing to be able to connect with the characters.
This author is one of my favorites. She is one of the few that writes in third person that I enjoy reading. I was drawn in to his story from the beginning. While it does deal with death and grieving, it is kept very light with humor. There were parts I was actually laughing out loud. I enjoyed Meg and adored Kyle (for most of the story), but I really felt Floyd stole the show and wins for my favorite. While I enjoyed this story, I did feel like the ending fizzled out at bit. Maybe I was just expected more but it seemed to fall flat for me. I would still recommend this read though.

Meg and Kyle are interesting and well-developed characters. I found them compelling and enjoyed their romance. This is an interesting story that I found relatable. It touches on loss, cheating and making peace with oneself. I enjoyed the secondary characters, particularly the furry ones.

This is such a sad but cute novel! I'll admit it: I did cry while I was reading it. I also smiled a lot, though, so it was all good. I really liked Meg and Kyle as characters (but Matt truly seemed like a jerk, to be honest). Overall, this was an unexpected story that worked out really well for me. It's not your typical romance novel (or at least not in my opinion), but it's worth a read.

NOW THAT IT'S YOU was a fantastic read. I was hooked from the beginning and drawn to both main characters. The conflict was believable throughout and I could really empathize with what they were each dealing with (grief, guilt, torn between love and family). Fenske's use of humor perfectly complements the story. She deftly weaves the plot through twists and turns and backstory reveals that kept me reading way past my bedtime. I eagerly recommend this to readers that enjoy books by Kristan Higgins, and to Tessa Dare fans that also read contemporary romances. (Read courtesy of NetGalley).

I really loved this book -the characters felt so real and funny and interesting, and I think the author did an awesome job taking a subject that was pretty intense and sad and making it human but keeping the story little light-hearted. Can't wait to read more by her!

I didn't like this. At all. The main characters are horrible and their situation is ridiculous.
So basically Meg ran away at the altar and she, filled with guilt, offered to pay off the wedding (even though her fiancé cheated on her) and then she had to pay 10.000 dollars for photos her ex offered to take? AND THEN she has to give all her royalties to his money-sucking family? WHY THE FORK WON'T SHE STAND UP FOR HERSELF?
And Kyle is such an endearing and good man (sarcasm) that he never supports her and even sides with his family but, he LOVES her so much. Note: he doesn't. He's psychotic and obsessed with her.
The only thing this book does is aggravate me. Urgh, never going to pick it up again or any of this author's books. If this is what she's capable of, then no thank you.

Now That It’s You is a light romance/women’s fiction novel about a caterer falling for her late ex-fiancé’s brother. From the start, the quality of the story is apparent and I didn’t want to put the book down. All of the main characters are likable or, at least, understandably unlikable. Even the worst actions of the characters fit their personalities and the story. It’s hard to talk about it too much without spoiling the plot, but the romance is great and the non-romance plot is also very good. I truly loved reading this and would recommend it to anyone looking for a light romance with a great story.
I gave this four stars because it was fun, smart, and a delight to read. It would be a great beach read if it had come out in the summer, but it will be just as delightful with some tea and a cozy chair.

Loved it! This just grabbed me from the start and never let go. Meg is a caterer, who wanted to write cookery books. Two years ago she walked out of her own wedding, unable to forgive her fiancee for his infidelity with his acupuncturist. Through friends of friends she hears that Matt is recuperating in hospital after a minor procedure and she decides to visit him and make peace. When she visits Matt in the hospital she runs into Matt's younger brother Kyle.
Soon Meg and Kyle are renewing their old friendship, but can it ever really work when the woman you love was once engaged to marry your brother? There is also a plot involving an aphrodisiac cookbook which Meg wrote and for which Matt took the photos, when the book becomes an overnight success things get nasty.
I've checked and I've read quite a few Tawna Fenske books, I always like them and sometimes I love them - this is one of the latter. Both Meg and Kyle were characters that I would like to know in real life. Meg was nice, but not a doormat, she wanted to move on from Matt but couldn't forgive what he did. Kyle was a nice guy, he had been in love with Meg ever since he met her 12 years ago but he also feels loyalty to his family. None of the issues felt fake or forced, it was great to see both Meg and Kyle making realistic decisions. I'm only sorry that this seems like it was a stand-alone novel.
Recommended for people who enjoy realistic romances, men who are good with their hands and themed hen party food (I laughed out loud at the menu AND Kyle's reaction).

I liked the relationship between Meg and Kyle. He was sweet and funny and sexy and so was she. The dialogue is great - snappy and screwball. What I struggled with was the fact that so much of the romance happened immediately during the days after her ex-fiance and his brother died. I wasn't keen on the stages of grieving portion and felt like the romance would have played better for me if there had been more time between the events. Making out in a closet at the funeral seemed a bit off. However, I loved the characters, including the best friend. It was definitely worth the read, and I will recommend it to my romance readers.

The writing was bad and I couldn't stand the mc blaming herself (AFTER TWO YEARS) for cancelling a wedding WHEN HER TO BE HUSBAND CHEATED ON HER. Like, a person who blames themselves for that is stupid af, of course that if he cheats on you you have the right to dum his sorry ass!
(I wasn't liking the characters or the writing style so I decided to DNF it)
