I didn't love nor hate the first book but I probably shouldn't have continued with the second. I did though, and got roughly halfway through it by skimming before deciding to put it down. I felt zero connection to either Tristian or EJ. Plus, the scene depicted in order to get her out of the catatonic state she was in made me feel uncomfortable which normally takes more than that.

I'm left speechless and dying for the final book in this trilogy. What an amazing continuation. So many twists and turns and my jaw is on the ground. I loved seeing past characters and getting to know more about these characters. I am loving this series and can't wait to see where T.M. Frazier is going to take this series, because I definitely won't be able to predict it.

This book has so many twists and turns. I'm on the edge of my seat trying to figure it all out. It was great to see some of the initial characters that introduced me to this author make an appearance.

After the way Perversion ended, I needed to know what happened to Tricks and Grim so I dived straight away into Possession. This second installment in the Perversion Trilogy is another thrilling ride where a lot of unexpected events occurs. It’s a roller-coaster of action, violence, revelations and passion. T.M. Frazier assuredly upped her game for this riveting sequel.
"The broken don't need to be put back together, they need to be loved for all their pieces."
I was already captivated by the main cast, but this admiration is even more significant now. Tricks is the victim of awful viciousness and her courage during these moments is astonishing. She could be broken from this terrible period, and at some point her psyche is affected, but she comes back even stronger. Grim is showing once again all the lengths he would go to save his girl. He might be a feared killer, but with Tricks he’s a different man not afraid to show his kindness. His dominance in everything he does and commanding presence is so alluring and makes him an all-round hero.
"You and me Tricks. We. Don't. End."
This couple shows a united front to fight the war that’s only starting between the different unlawful organizations of Lacking. I was totally engrossed in this world of violence and corruption with all the whirlwind of events happening. When a plot was resolved, another unforeseen incident was already starting making this twisted journey electrifying.
"I'd rather be unsafe with you than safe without you."
T.M. Frazier shaped an enthralling storyline that brought a lot of suspense, ruthlessness, passion and emotion in place. Once again, in the last few chapters the action reaches a new level of intensity that abruptly ends on a cliffhanger. I’m so glad to already have Permission in my hands as I’m stunned by the last few lines of Possession.

dramatic but frustrating
With Emma Jean (Tricks) having been abducted by Marco again, and Mona posing as Gabby to feed Tristan (Grim) false information, it takes way too long for him to realise that she’s in real trouble. That she needs saving again.
But he will never give up until he has Tricks safe and sound in his arms once more.
The drama is rife again. But honestly, how many times can they make the same mistake? If they just shared the most

Possession did not disappoint me! What's more, it exceeded all my expectations. I did not expect such a development of events. Fast-moving action once again sucked me in. I could not tear myself away from it.
The Grim and Trick's relationship was stronger, but what a price they had to pay to achieve that. What didn't killed them, made them stronger. This saying literally reflects Possession and its characters.

What I liked best was that you could see how the characters were developing in this book. They seem to be more .... everything. As if their character traits became more dominant. Where in the previous book they just emerged to the surface. But above all, they were more Badass for sure.

It would seem that Trick went through so much already. But what happened to her in this book it was more violent and brutal. It was so unfair. But she was brave determined to survive and very clever. After all, there is a reason they call her Tricks.
I like her even more after this book.
Of course, Grim was also struggling with difficult emotions associated with all that was happening with Tricks. Also, he has a lot on his mind as a new leader of the Brotherhood. In a role in which he proves himself very well.
Unfortunately, like in the previous book, in this one, I found something that bothered me. It was one or two chapters which, in my opinion, should not be included in this book. And that's because they did not bring anything new to the story. In my opinion, it was an unsuccessful attempt to present the vulnerable side of the Tricks or Grim. But as I mentioned, it did not last long, so this incident didn't change my perception of the characters, it only irritated me. So because of that it only 4 stars.
And of course, in the end, there is HUGE cliffhanger. I swear I don't think I can handle one more ending like this. Thank goodness this is only a trilogy ;)

This book had so much happening in it that it seems like my brain can not keep up properly.
I mentioned in my review of the first book how in love I am with Emma Jean’s character. She’s so strong, but this book just made me so sad for her. All the times at the beginning, and then again at the end. I thought for sure when he stuck his guys on her, that would be when Grim would have made it back to her. She’s so strong. She showed reactions to her treatment when she was rescued the first time, and I look forward to book 3 when this conversation happens again with her and Grim. On that note, even though Grim helped to get her out, she almost saved herself by using her lying and tying skills.
Oh, Grim. My heart just is with him through all this. He is the ideal angsty character we all love and this book just shows more of that; while he is processing and dealing with all that went down for Emma Jean. We needs to kill Marco though.
My hate for Marco is way past 100% and the author does such a fantastic job of creating a believable villain.
And an even better job by creating a confusing character. I don’t know what to think of Gabby; how to process it all. She’s clearly threatened by Marco, but to what extent because sometimes...I hope it’s all cleared up soon.
Onto book 3! This series is amazing and addictive.

The Evil Ginger, has lived up to her nickname once again. I don't know HOW T.M. Frazier manages to find new ways to shock and surprise me in every single book--other than the obvious explanation which is that she sold her soul to Satan for that kind of talent--but regardless, if you love twisty-turny romantic suspense, you NEED this series in your life!
