Wow!! The turmoil in this book was even hot!! Lucien is as sexy as ever but the little blurbs about Dan I expected there to more of a fight from him that was the only thing I thought was missing

Personally I think she skipped opportunities to add drama and excitement to the story. Stay and play had some much more potential. I believe the sex scenes overshadowed the storyline. Plus the one question I have still remains : does Lucien' s concept of marriage change? Guess I'm just left to assume.

So thankful for an ending to the story of Sophia and Lucien!
It rounds out everything between both hero and heroine and wraps it all in one big bow of a wonderful ending. It is a treat to see Lucien grow and let Sophia into his life on a more personal level...he was the one she is saving in this book versus the first book of the reverse (in some weird way...she woke up to stand up for herself and all). I like how Sophia is the very understanding partner - whether it would be romantically or professionally in the story's development.
I enjoyed the extra in the end...it gives hope to failed marriages in general.

I would like to have known what happened to Dan and Marie in the end...even if it was just a short mention but I guess the main story is between Lucien and Sophia. I do appreciate Dan being human but is frustrated in him telling her that he doesn't know the reason why he strayed. This left me with more questions on that part versus why he ended up where he did in the end. I'm even angry at him for also faulting Sophia's weakness in succumbing to Lucien's seduction...oh well. If the guy does it, it's not as grave as a the reverse?!?

Overall, a good book and cannot wait to read on the last trilogy.

***SPOILER ALERT***

After walking out on her husband and leaving her job at Knight Inc, Sophie Black is at a loss for words. Slumming on the couch at her best friends Kate, Sophie decides she needs to get a hold of herself, meaning no more weeks spent on the couch eating ice-cream and drinking wine. So with her head down and her tail between her legs she returns to her old job at the building firm in the small cramped office with her leech of a boss. And with Dan returning to her bed with his tail between his legs, could anything else go wrong in Sophie's life?

Lucien can't function straight, to be quite honest, he misses Sophie Black more than anything. He doesn't know what it is about her, but she has him by the balls and the heart and he can't do anything about her. It's not her beautiful curves, or her hot body, it's her face, her heart and her personality, that his mind, heart and manhood have gotten him into trouble.

But when Ms. Black said the three words that some men don't want to hear, can he put those words behind him and get on with his life.

So when he told Sophie that she could no longer work for him for a second time round, it was a blow for Sophie and a gut turning mistake for him. But when his father is taken to hospital for a turn for the worst, he must put Sophie and everything else behind him in order to make peace with his father, if he can do that.

Sophie soon finds out that Lucien is back in Norway on a trip to visit his father, and without a second glance she has packed her bags and on the first plane out of London and to Norway to visit the man she loves.

Soon Sophie and Lucien are reunited, but under different circumstances, one that they both can agree on is the best option for them. They will have to get to grips with each other again, but they don't have to get to grips with each others bodies again.

Though when things are once heated up again will Lucien push Sophie away for the third time? Or will he love her back?

Knight and Stay by Kitty French, is the last instalment of the Knight series by Kitty French and I must say that I am quite saddened by this. After finding an erotic series that I quite liked, I would of loved for the story to follow on a bit longer rather than two books. However, the two books that have been written about Sophie and Lucien's relationship were great and I really enjoyed them.

I loved Sophie and Lucien's characters hugely, I thought they had a great background behind them, more so of Lucien's. I really liked this as I started reading Fifty Shades of Grey and just felt that there was no story line to it, I admit that I didn't read very much into it, but what I have gathered from people telling me about it, is that it is mostly sex.

Yes, the Knight series did have quite a lot of sex in it, but it did have a good storyline to also follow as well as the erotic features. In some ways, even though that the book is an erotic novel, I find it did have more of a plot to it than sex, which in someway's I also enjoyed.

I love Sophie and Lucien so much and wished they we're making a film about them instead of FSOG as I feel it would be a much better plot to watch than FSOG. I just loved how they we're with each other, how that Lucien acts all strong but cares for her so much and just wants to protect her all the time and to show her just how beautiful she really is, which I thought was just beautiful.
How he changes towards the end is lovely.

The ending of the book is great, although as I have stated I do wish there we're more books coming. There is a third one, but it is loosely based around Sophie and Lucien and more around Kate and her lover, which I soon shall be reading and doing a review of.

I will give this book 8 out of 10

I picked this up immediately after reading book 1 - with the way Knight & Play ended, there was no way I was waiting.

Sophie & Lucien are back and at the end of her week with Lucien and the implosion of her marriage, Sophie is prepared to return to the employ of Lucien Knight. They tiptoe around each other trying to abide by the rules Sophie has set in place.

A trip to France and experiences beyond anything she could imagine change everything for her.

Once again, Kitty French delivers on all counts.

Lucien hides behind his determination never to connect on an emotional level with anyone and so he and Sophie embark on a world of pleasure that neither could have expected.

When Dan returns determined to make Sophie his again Sophie has to decide what and who she really wants for her life.

In this installment, we learn more about Lucien. His past. What makes him tick. The evolution of his feelings for Sophie is apparent to everyone except him. The fight he has with himself to deny these feelings was hard to read and hard to understand until we get the full story.

And Sophie's growth was wonderful to see as well. The way she mourned the loss of her marriage, the way she took charge of her life and was determined to move on and make her life something she wanted really endeared her to me even more.

If you're looking for some well written erotic romance this should be next on your list. Lucien and Sophie were wonderfully done and Kitty French can write some amazing scenes.

This is more a review of books one and two.

I remembered this series being raved about a couple of years ago, and the first book was a freebie recently so I decided to try it out. I think had I read this a few years ago, I would have loved it. But my tastes have changed so this was just ok for me.
First off, the POV was confusing and drew me out of the story. You had Lucien's POV, Sophie's POV, Dan's POV and an omniscient POV. There was no delineation between POV. One paragraph was Sophie, the next Lucien, then Dan would pop in, then a POV connected to none of them. There were no extra spaces between paragraphs, no little symbols, nothing. There were times I had no idea whose POV we were in.
There were little things that seemed like hints that were never addressed. Like the blinking light on the answering machine.
And there was A LOT of sex. I realize this was more erotica than romance, but it was just so overwhelming. They were written great, don't get me wrong, but it overwhelmed the plot.
Now, the romance part of the story was very good (once you got to it). There was no Instalove. There was an undeniable attraction and the love came in naturally over time. That was great. Even Lucien's denial and pushing Sophie away and the time spent apart was paced quite well.

A perfect example of two books that could have easily been one, I still enjoyed Lucien and Sophie's romance. Their chemistry was fantastic, and I will admit that was what drew me to the second book, even though I was irked at the fact that the first book ended in a cliffhanger. However, this could have been a tight, well written single book with seriously hot love scenes.
