A perfect example of two books that could have easily been one, I still enjoyed Lucien and Sophie's romance. Their chemistry was fantastic, and I will admit that was what drew me to the second book, even though I was irked at the fact that the first book ended in a cliffhanger. However, this could have been a tight, well written single book with seriously hot love scenes.
