Technically a stand alone And can be read as such However when read as one the story flows and the continuation is magical. It really made me sing inside Elizabeth Knox crafts magic, dreams, timelines and reality into a continuous flow. What is real and what is not becomes blurred,Maybe reality is not just in one place in one time. The story makes sense on som many levels as long as you allow yourself to flow with her reality .
There are scary parts, with massive fire, there is a mystery to resolve and bad people
There are, and should be, a few open ends The story about dream hunting is complete The story round our protagonist Laura is complete.
There is a family backstory to the measures that is not complete but should give room if ever she would want it to make a new book. NOWN should be part of that as it is one of the most intriguing characters
This book got the same 5 stars as I continued to have the sam urgency to read and because I loved the ending I think Elizabeth Knox is really a new favourite of mine

Surprisingly, I not only liked the second part of this series better than the first, the second book made me like the first book more. 2 completely interesting and powerful in their own way female protagonists.

"Honestly, Mamie, complaining doesn't make you a rebel, only action makes anyone a rebel."

It used to feel exciting, but this YA suspense-fantasy duology now feels like a slow burn. The ending is a mind blowing big-brain move but takes a while to get there. I think it could have been wrapped up in one book honestly. I am still in love with the concept surrounding dreams however.

The ending of it all and you can't put it down for one second. Don't start it unless you have nothing going on for a few days, because you will definitely disappear just to finish.

This is the conclusion of an amazing journey for Dreamhunter Laura and company. The book has some very interesting twist and I’m sure will keep the readers eager for more and more... Even though is a great story I found myself bored in some chapters, I guess I was looking for more action and less “drama”. I still love the characters and I loved “Nown” even more than before! And of course Sandy, Rose, Grace, Tziga...pretty much everyone! I love how it pretty much concludes everything…how I got all my answer and more (I don’t want to give to many spoilers!) It really is a great story full of a different kind of magic and even though I prefer the first book I still enjoyed this one very much. For those who liked Phillip Pullman and “His Dark Materials” would enjoy this amazing duet!

This was a very satisfying ending to this series. I loved the twist ending when we discover how the Place was created. It really tied the plot of the whole series together and a lot of things finally made a lot more sense. It is also nice that Knox was able to tie the story up with only 2 books; many authors would have dragged this out for a lot longer. Great series and I am glad it was recommended to me.

I've just written a review for [b:Dreamhunter|357091|Dreamhunter (The Dreamhunter Duet, #1)|Elizabeth Knox|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1316638294s/357091.jpg|3017563] so don't want to repeat all the reasons I loved this "duet", suffice it to say that this book pleased me equally.

After a dramatic ending of the first book, this one follows on beautifully. It develops the characters and the plot further, and gives answers to some intriguing hints that weren't elaborated on in the first, so that by the end it all makes sense.

I also read this one from going-to-bedtime until I finished it.
