I always find it hard to rate book one in a dulogy because you don't have the entire story and book one more often than not is world building and/or relationship building with book two leading into the plot.

That's the case here. This book focuses on Jodies relationship with the guys as she learns to trust them and grows closer to them.

In a world with an oppressive government, abused since a child and taught that omega a less than second rate citizens it's no wonder Josie had a tonne of trauma. The government has made it illegal for omega to masturbate, they must remain virgins, they're not allowed to drive, can't own a home or be on a lease and that's just the tip of the iceberg.

With the way that government, I was left wondering how would they view r/pe of an omega? Pretty sure the first two chapters of book 2 (because I couldn't end it there) gave me an insight. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't even be seen as a crime. That it would be the Alphas right and the omega would be blamed. Fucked I know.

The writing in this is great, you really get sucked into it. The relationship building is phenomenal and I love that Josie doesn't trust them or fall head over heals instantly. It is rather long, and they're constantly needing to reassure her because she's been told from a child that she's fat, undesirable, and defective. The thought plagues her to the point where it's almost exhaustive to read but it's also realistic. Something like that would infect your mind.

Very good. I found her very whiny at times. She definitely had trauma, and her behavior related to that was completely understandable. However, not all of her behaviors were from that. It was awesome when she let her hair down. Like when Sam visited and they went driving. That was hilarious. I loved the spice. I would have handled things differently at the end. I think it would have offered better protection. Will see what happens next. That cliffy was killer

Fantastic omegaverse! Some very dark themes so make sure to check content warnings. Ends on a cliffhanger- do yourself a favor and be ready to jump right into number 2!

Forbidden is the first book in the Luna & Sol Omegaverse series and while it is interesting, it might not be everyone's cup of tea.

This book heavily focuses on the character development. There are multiple POVs, and we get to know all about our MCs' pasts. I really liked how we didn't get that sudden shift in personality of the FMC that most books usually have. When they suddenly grow a backbone. Seeing her and her pack figure out her trauma was actually really entertaining to read about. I very much prefer having a longer development of the characters that seems realistic than the one that is fast and makes no sense.

While the character development aspect was amazing, the plot was a bit lacking. There were moments when I actually questioned what the plot of this book actually was. It was also very predictable, which I didn't like.

Overall, this is a good whychoose romance that does come with some triggers.
