Forbidden is the first book in the Luna & Sol Omegaverse series and while it is interesting, it might not be everyone's cup of tea.

This book heavily focuses on the character development. There are multiple POVs, and we get to know all about our MCs' pasts. I really liked how we didn't get that sudden shift in personality of the FMC that most books usually have. When they suddenly grow a backbone. Seeing her and her pack figure out her trauma was actually really entertaining to read about. I very much prefer having a longer development of the characters that seems realistic than the one that is fast and makes no sense.

While the character development aspect was amazing, the plot was a bit lacking. There were moments when I actually questioned what the plot of this book actually was. It was also very predictable, which I didn't like.

Overall, this is a good whychoose romance that does come with some triggers.

This omega verse/ why choose romance takes place in a world where omegas are very oppressed. The government has tried to keep designations separate and made it so omegas cannot do every day things without the “help” or supervision of alphas.

Josie is an omega and has tried to put off her heat as long as possible so that she doesn’t have to be assigned to an alpha pack who support the government and feels as though omegas should only be around to please their alphas and clean the house basically.

Thank goodness she is paired with an amazing cinnamon roll hero(es) pack! Omg I absolutely ate this book up!! Hands down my favorite omega verse! All of the heroes were SO beyond sweet and spoiled her and only want what’s best for her. Josie has dealt with negative thoughts about herself and her body and has been told that she is “too fat” by those closest to her for so long that she starts to believe this. The guys ALWAYS show her and tell her how beautiful she is and how much they adore her body everything

A coworker recommended this book to me bc its her favorite book, so I tried really hard to like it. I think I liked the characters? They were different enough to be interesting. The conflict of basically women suffering under men was interesting with how it played out but I could not believe how fast a couple pretty words to Josie was enough to make her forget everything and fall in love with the main male characters. I have to read part 2 to see how the conclusion ends but I wish I didn't have to.

Nothing particularly wrong with the writing or plot but already the book is dragging way too fucking long and I’m getting a migraine thinking about having to not only finish this book but also the next one.

Wasn't captivating, felt repetitive, and the FMC was boring
