While the "romance" part of the story was a little too syrupy for me, I really liked the characters and the story was intriguing. Jonah andRipper were my favorite characters! Recommend to readers of paranormal romance as well as readers looking for an exciting read.

A good read but not what I had expected. Not to mention that there is insta-love.

This was such an exciting book to read--great story overall--eerie setting, hilariously clever dialogue and original ideas of people who are ordered to take the souls of people who have committed terrible crimes...read this.

Loved, loved, loved...loved, loved! I knew from a couple of pages in I would be hooked on this book so I put it down for a bit because I didn't want it to end too soon! It still ended all too soon and while there was a cliffhanger...I know there will be more. I am confident because X is so confident. And so far, he keeps his word which is so incredibly endearing.
I loved how intense the plot was from the beginning. I was reeled in with Zoe's characterization and I could so picture her. She's a fun, lively teenager who is still high spirited despite not having the best hand dealt to her. And X...goodness gracious. Who wouldn't want to love him?! He's been through so much and yet has such a noble purity about him. I love that somehow Giles has managed to make Zoe and X complete opposites but also complements to one another...they balance each other and just worked.
I loved the writing style and how everything was just so vivid without being overly explanatory or descriptive.
I'm seriously in need of the next in this series immediately! I know it will not disappoint.
As a testament to how much I loved this book, I'm keeping it. Typically, in probably atypical bibliophile fashion, I pass my books along when I'm finished with them. They have to really strike me for me to hang onto them...but The Edge of Everything is definitely one that I will keep on my bookshelves.

i liked the plot. the idea of bounty hunters for human souls of terrible people is very fascinating, but the way the story was executed fell a little short for me.
I wasn’t exactly wowed.
sure there were definite moments I enjoyed, I laughed too. I enjoyed Zoe’s quirks and her family dynamic. I loved her and Val’s friendship (lesbian rep), and Zoe having a friend who’s a guy (and thankfully he’s no longer into her!).
The romance felt kind of rushed. I liked them both, but I didn’t love either of them by the end of this book, so I’m a little confused how they seem to love each other now?
I didn’t think it was love yet that drove them to keep finding each other, it’s not that deep yet. Probably infatuation or curiosity, but that’s an excellent reason.
I’m curious to see what happens, so I’ll probably read the next book.
I did appreciate the choices X made about bounty hunting, and I want more of Ripper because she is a fabulous character.
I may actually love her.
In all seriousness.

Ahhhhhh. I really didn't want to start another series right now, but the book was great for what it was.

Ugh I so wanted to like this book, but it's just... not good? The mix of supernatural and modern life did not work at all. The rules of the world weren't established, which just led the book into a complete clusterf*ck of a narrative. Also the whole "fall in love instantly and risking your entire family's life for a hot alien dude you just met" trope is gag-inducing.

I assume the author will write sequels to explain the rules of the world, but I think it's ridiculous to have to read another book to figure out how the first one works. Why waste the reader's time?

I thought the first third of the book was interesting and kept my interest (hence 2 stars) but once I realized we weren't getting any answers to any of the numerous questions the book presents, I lost it. Took me forever to actually finish it after that.
