I have never routed for heroine this much before

Holy cow was Talia's story tough to read. Talk about a character that has been to hell and back...totally played on my emotions. It took me a little longer to warm up to Alexie, he came off as a controlling jerk a lot of the times. But once we got to know Alexie we found out what made him tick and soon I was routing for him too! There are definitely a lot of topics that are tough to read about in this book. But the HEA made the journey worth it. I will continue to read more from this series and this author.

Dark, twisted and delicious!

Talia 22 goes on her very first vacation with a man she trusted, that was a HUGE mistake!! She gets sold to a very bad man who puts her through hell.

In flies the GORGEOUS and a little broken Alexei to save her, but he has his own very selfish motives for why he is helping her. Alexi is high up in the Russian mafia and friends with Lachlan (Crow). I fell for him nearly instantly.



This was a super addictive read for me, I was captivated by the plot and just had to find out what happened and it's been awhile since that's happened.

When Alexi and Talia get together it is fireworks galore! I liked the fact Alexi didn't try and jump her straight away and waited until she was mentally ready as well as physically ready.

I had forgotten how much I loved this series so I am jumping into the next one straight away!! If you haven't read this series yet, I recommend bumping it up your list.

This is definitely the best in the series so far! Super dark and broken and so very good. Absolutely need to read this series.

Ghost is bk 3 of The Boston UnderWorld Series. Can be read as a standalone but you'll probably enjoy it more if you read Crow and Reaper first. Those two books are fabulous reads!
Ghost is Alexei and Talia's story. I'm going to try and be really careful not to give any spoilers.
Alexei is in the Russian Mafia. I would said that he's basically the right hand guy of the top man due to his technical skills. He's a genius with a computer.
Alexei is a dominant alpha man with a vulnerability in him due to a personal issue (won't tell you want it is so you can read it and be surprised.
Talia is a beautiful woman but a broken one. She has had a hard and difficult life from a young age. She has a inner strength that helps her survive the nightmare she is plunged into,yet she sees herself as damaged beyond repair.
Alexei and Talia come into each other's lives (won't tell you why or how because I think it's a spoiler) and nothing will be the same again!
Ok now let me tell you about Ms. Zavarelli she has crazy writing skills. Her words and the way she puts them together turn to magic! I have not read one bad book by her on the contrary each of her books just get better and better!
Ghost is a brilliantly written story. The main characters and the secondary characters all have a vital role in Ghost. Sometimes I read books and find that some characters are just inserted for some unknown reason,not here though.
You will find that every word,character and event serves a purpose. Ms. Zavarelli is so detail oriented she forgets nothing even the dialect of how each character speaks because in Ghost you have the Russians,Irish and Americans. I can't say enough good things about this book because it's truly brilliant!
Just one warning though start this book during the day because if you start it at night you will not put it down even to sleep!

Una relazione non proprio nata sul sentimento, quella tra i due, ma nata per adempiere ai propri doveri di Vor e per assicurare alla donna la protezione che le serve per riprendere in mano la propria vita. Un mafia romance che mi ha coinvolto ancora una volta, un romanzo fatto di violenze descritte in modo crudo ma leggero senza impressionare il lettore. Lo stile della Zavarelli è incredibile le scene hot presenti in modo numeroso all'interno della storia non sono volgari ma eccitanti e ben descritte. La storia di questi due mi ha fatto patire le pene dell'inferno. Un'amore sbocciato lentamente ma che dovrà farsi forza e affrontare i problemi che ci saranno lungo il cammino. Un mondo pieno di amore, odio e gelosie fa da sfondo alla coppia rendendo il romanzo scorrevole e affascinante. Non vedo l'ora di leggere gli altri libri della serie e conoscere nuovi personaggi e provare nuove emozioni.
