The art was magnificent. Who knew flies could be so entertaining and not annoying as fuck? Not me that's for sure!

this one was gooooddddd, i liked it a lot. it was creepy but in a good way, v entertaining.

thankfully I don't have problems with my mum and I cannot relate to majority of the story but I liked the book and the way it was written. the audiobook was also great!

goes into my "insdane women" folder right this second! i feel like this would have shocked everyone back then, would make them quiver in their stylish little pants if you will (idek what they were wearing back then, lmao). kinda chilling, loved it!

perfectly autumn-y. i would love to read this as a 300 - 400+ pages book. also how did I not see the ending coming? it was dark but pretty cool imo.

really comforting. i loved the "sloce of life" it gave me as a distraction from my own life. i needed something easy to digest and I think this was the perfect book to just chill and read. not a lot of story was put into it but that's okay, I liked it nonetheless.

I actually enjoyed this book quite a lot. More than the original too! (I do not remember verymuch from reading the original...)

One thing i did not enjoy that much was how similar it is in comparison to Tomie plot wise with the way everyone was swooning over Yozo. It was not to the same extent but it was really noticeable. Still, it was quite the nice read and my first physical manga!

P.S. Big thank youto Reni from work for lending it to me! Girlie is golden. :)

i usually really enjoy the whole topic of politics and all that stuff. maybe "enjoy" is not the right wording but it interests me fully since I've seen people around me live in poverty because of the way this country's built and it is fascinating when i touch up on the topic relating to other countries. it's still saddening that the situation is no different.

this book had some good points and the potential to be soooo good but somewhere along the way, i got so uninterested.

the story about the woman who was wrongly accused of committing a terrorist act was awful, the way her friend turns against her and the teacher too... it's freaking sad.

it's funny how this book keeps on being pushed in my country randomly? or is it random at all? it's a bit too relevant, maybe that's why. comparing my own home country to India is wild but ig it doesn't matter. it's sad and it makes me angry.

you already know i read this one at my homophobic workspace, hehehehehe. LOVED IT!

i read it more like a story itself and didn't take it in as a memoir but that's alright, it was v good regardless of how my mind comprehends stuff, lol. the art and the analogies were just on point!! i love graphic novels with some good dang art and this one hit the spot. i'd have a few people i'd recommend it to and i genuinely think it would help out many people struggling with their identity and sexuality. it's so good when you finally find yourself and discover your interests as you would do to one's friends. :)

p.s. i love being queer so much !!!!

i swear every classic book i pick up i become increasingly bored while reading it. that invisible man was shitty and a douche. i expected more action but oh well. also what was his purpose?
also why tf did he burn down that house??? is he insane? (the answer is "yes" btw).

not gonna lie, i laughed a lot at some parts. :)
