cute and very summer-y. i do believe that the actual meaning of "love is forever" is that love may leave a scar so deep that you feel it throughout your life. the art was beautiful and i very much enjoyed Viola's relationship with that boy.

yeah, the sad thing about this story is that I'm going to forget it in an instant. oops.

my tattoo artist recommended this manga to me and it wasn't that bad! I think this is exactly what i expected the story to develop into when i read [book:The Murders of Molly Southbourne|34417038]. honestly my thought process was only focused on how repetitive it was and i was wondering "how are they going to finish this story off?". except for actually burning everything that remained of Tomie i couldn't find a fitting way to end it. but the way it actually ended was just perfect!!

Here are the stories that i loved:
♡ Artist / Painter
♡ Hair
♡ Adopted Daughter
♡ Moromi

and the last one but i forgot the name and cannot bother rn to find the name of it, oops.

the one story that i hated was Boy and that's probably because it was basically p*dophelia. that's also the reason i am taking half a star off my rating. i was uncomfortable through most of that one.

the art was really good and i might be reading some other mangas by junji ito very soon. :)

it wasn't my favourite art style but it was entertaining so that was quite enough for me. i wouldn't say it was something magnificent, the story was bit all over the place. i wish there was more witchcraft stuff because it was left unfinished? also i wanted to know what would happen to Katie! and maybe mrs. A too. these were my main missing points. otherwise, kinda fun, kinda queer-y.

i seriously have no idea how to rate this book... it was alright, i guess. it started out as one thing and i got the idea that it's gonna be like Before The Coffee Gets Cold type of vibe. like, the main event being played in the bookstore. and it was as such up until one point but after that the story turned out to be something different.

I'm really not sure how to explain this but the book felt both a bit childish and mature. childish because the words and phrases and situations felt pretty unrealistic and too immature but then they started to discuss themes like being unable to have children and different diseases. i couldn't comprehend that.

anyway, the book was nice for a random read. i read it while on a vacation so i had a nice time. :)

that was kinda refreshing to read! oh my god!

i didn't expect to read such good lit from sylvia plath based on the book The Bell Jar which i didn't quite enjoy as much.

this was more of an adventure and it was quite fun, ngl. small but it left an impact on me. :)

good one, plath!
