Geek Love by Katherine Dunn
good lord. i very rarely say this but as much as i enjoyed this book i never want to read it again
Cruising: An Intimate History of a Radical Pastime by Alex Espinoza
this was quite disappointing... i didn't feel that it succeeded as a history of cruising or as a memoir. because the author tried to do both, it felt quite disorganized... again, i really wish that this wasn't pitched as a history of cruising overall because i got the sense that the author's research wasn't super comprehensive. lesbians are mentioned in passing, which seemed incredibly silly to me as lesbians have most definitely cruised. at one point, he mentions 'female impersonators'. much to think about...
The Mysterious Case of the Alperton Angels by Janice Hallett
kinda fun notwithstanding the criminal psych stuff
Tell Me I'm Worthless by Alison Rumfitt
twitter has been awful for lgbt literature and trans people. simplistic, badly written, t4t if it didn't slay. you have to have a LOT of faith in your book to allude to jackson, lorde, and cronenberg
Night Film by Marisha Pessl
ive never been so confident after reading something that i would dislike the person who wrote it. bizarrely unimaginative
Penance by Eliza Clark
i have been eating a lot of spicy food and this was good to read while pooping. what happens next goes way harder than this
Travelogue of the Succubus by 伊藤潤二, Junji Ito

The Likeness by Tana French
i didn't finish it but i was close enough to the end for me to not care. :/
