This new character died pretty quick, but I was happy to see a certain member of the 7th bite the dust. I thought the whole Jack the Ripper thing was tired, and am glad we're done with it.

Dark backstories abound, and Inkarmat is pregnant. Wow. 

My emotions were everywhere in this volume. 

The plot thickens with Koito but all I can think about is Ariko.

Noda has this amazing ability to blend the serious with the ridiculous and I love him for it. 

They're total red-herrings, but I cannot help but love Kirawus and Kadokowa. This volume gives a backstory on Tsurumi that I never saw coming. Great writing. 

This had a lot going on - a brotherly haunting, a traitor's backstory, and Sugimoto + Tanigaki surviving out on the tundra. Plenty of comedic moments.
