The circus arc was a bit silly, but the Shinsengumi side-story was poignant. I'm so angry at certain characters right now it's hard for me to enjoy their storyline, but it is getting interesting as they cross into Russian controlled Sakhalin.

Did not see the betrayal coming...I'm speechless.

Starts off with hot men at the onsen and ends with a thrilling attack on a Japanese prison. There's plenty of emotional payoff in this volume.

Favorite volume so far. Inkarmat get's her own cover and there's copious amounts of man-titty along with a healthy dose of gay context. There's also a bestiality side-story so you have been warned - but this volume is definitely a treat for the Tanigaki/Otaga stans.

This was a great volume. We got a side-story that was really good, and we got a look at Ogata's childhood. Explains a lot. The end of the book is going to squick a few sensitive types LOL!

Yay for back to back releases - I hope Viz keeps up the pace. The 7th Division has some serious misfits in their ranks!

The alliances are all over the place! I love the dynamic between Tanigaki and Inkarmat, and I enjoyed Shiraishi's backstory.

The horserace was hilarious, and don't even get me started on the gay gangster and his moll. The dark comedy in this series is so spot on - but if you're squeamish about animal death, definitely steer clear.
