I had to return it to the library and it just wasn't worth renewing. The sentance structure was annoying to me and I couldn't really get into it.

Is this book good? Absolutely not. The art is ugly, the writing is clunky, and the storyline is unnecessary. Did I have a great time reading it? Oh absolutely. I reccomend reading it with some friends, it makes it a more fun experience. I only rated it so high for the enjoyment factor

I was listening to the audiobook and found the narrator's voice grating. May try this book again as a paperback

This is my favorite book from the the first half of the 19rh century that I have read. It wass very challenging but really well written and I think an important literary milestone.

The art is beautiful and makes up for the fact that a lot of it seems cast on if not a mean light an uninformed one. While it does sumerize it, it misses the nuisance and has a lot of the creator's own biases and introjects things he either made up or misremembered. It's a good place to start, but should not be considered the definitive summery of the X-Men of that era. I was let down from the first Grand Design.

I think maybe I just read this book at the right time for me. My fiance died recently and this book helped me feel like someday I could move on. It was also really interesting about mushrooms. Very cool.

I'm not much of a romance reader, but I really enjoyed this. It was very realistic while still being very cutem the characters grow on you quickly. The first chapter/part isn't that great but the other three totally go up in quality.
