While the prose is well crafted and focused on food descriptions in a world where most of our food sources have died out, the story of extremely wealthy people using that privledge to screw over everyone else didn’t have a lot of nuance.

I oreferred the first half to the second half. The second got a little preachy and when he started to advocate for “unschooling” I thought that was a bit extreme. Leans more into advocating for systemic change vs individual change.
