I have always wanted to read this for Corraine and I loved it!! I've also enjoyed reading the background stories and the past of the characters of books that I enjoyed and this is one of those. Also enjoyed the scenes of Corraine and Tiberias the Sixth <3

I miss Genya! and I like how the Darkling made minor appearances here (hehehe). It showed a deeper undesirable to what happened to Genya and why she did it. This has more of an explanation to it rather than in the book where we just had to accept it.

I definitely recommend reading the trilogy first before this however because you probably won't know what's going on.

I can say that I absolutely, 5-star loved, at least 9 out of 12 stories.
