I think "cute" and "whimsical" sum up this book fairly well and agree with some other reviewers that this is a story meant to be read aloud.

This series was recommended to me. I don't game much, and I don't have indoor cats, but this fits into the low-stakes, slice-of-life genre and was a pleasant break for me.
