I loved the MC’s character arc and how she overcame her trauma!!! I love this series!!

This book introduced the Eshmiri whose name I forgot but I desperately want to see a book that focuses on her. Her backstory is……interesting, especially knowing the horrible secrets that were exposed in this book.

That scene with them in the Kitchen?!? Sexy AF.

My favorite, most unexpected book in the series. I read this one maybe once a month. The brotherhood amongst the Niahhorru is amazing. That conversation about them understanding other races’ customs and how they could adapt makes me smile.

It felt like the same fight as book 2. Sunny needs a real win. I felt like she lost SOOOOO much in this book. She needs things balanced in book 3.

This book is POWERFUL and hauntingly, vividly beautiful. This book is easily one of my top 3 reads of the year. The book has so many intricate layers. They tackle so many obstacles black, indigenous, and queer face in our reality. The truth behind Blessed Acres of Cain and Vern’s new life is……perfection. This was the book I was comfortable reading at night because something was going to happen that kept me up and wanting more.

It’s cool…I read this one to get to Naomis introduction to Young Justice….but it’s got the quirky, DC humor I enjoy. Impulse is an adorable mess.
