Justice League: No Justice by Joshua Williamson, Scott Snyder, James Tynion IV
2.0
This was a disappointment. When I had read halfway through, I was not sure if I even wanted to continue. Coming off from reading Suicide Squad, this comic was utterly boring. Suicide Squad Vol. 1 was so much fun to read and it was just such an awesome comic as an introduction to DC. Needless to say, I had high hopes for this comic and they were not met. I know it takes time to get used to new characters, and I tried to keep that in mind throughout reading the comic, but I still got quite irritated with a lot of the characters. Some of the superheros' egos were so inflated, that they kept fighting amongst each other when the whole multiverse was about the get obliterated. The plot was not that interesting and reminded me a lot of Marvel's Infinity Wars. There weren't really moments, where I felt like I really wanted/needed to continue reading and that definitely did not make this comic enjoyable.
Also, I didn't like how Deadpool and Harley Quinn looked in this comic.
A sincere thank you to NetGalley and DC Comics for the ARC.

Ice Cream Man Volume 1: Rainbow Sprinkles by W. Maxwell Prince

This was soo good! This definitely gave me American Horror Story Vibes! Each chapter story deals with another topic another story, from scary spiders to meth addicts killing people. The thread that connects them is the ice cream man, who at first sight looks like an incredibly friendly and likable person, but turns out to be something completely different. The way different types of horrors are used also reminds me a lot of Junji Ito (one of my favourites!), but with less physical gore. Would definitely read again!

Farmhand Volume 1: Reap What Was Sown by Rob Guillory
3.0
Yeey first read of 2019! I quite liked this comic and I felt the story started off very strong. I like super natural things and that in combination with the art was what I liked most about this comic. I however started becoming less interested about halfway through the 4th issue. I’m not too sure as to why, but perhaps there could have been more action. Nevertheless I had an enjoyable time reading Farmhand.
Side note: I’m still confused as to why Jed was under the ground all those years back, but I guess that will be revealed in later issues :)

After by Anna Todd

Initial thoughts:
Just when I thought Valient was going to be my worst read of 2018, After comes swooping in to take a firm stance at the number one spot.
Currently working on a video to express my thoughts coherently, will put the link here when it's up!
