Took a minute (ironically) to get through. I loved the insights and techniques the author gave and got emotional learning a lot of things I didn’t know were because of adhd. Solid read but I do wish more time was spent on forgetfulness because that’s by far the worst part of my life. I also wish there was more information on how exactly to go about getting an official diagnosis.

I loved this book as someone who has always grappled with women’s oppression and roles in yhthe church. I could not just accept that God arbitrarily silenced all women from sharing gospel teachings with men. The church has gone too far here with legalism. I loved the compassionate and theologically sound history and context of the “controversial passages.” I will say a few of the arguments weren’t the most supported but they weren’t the main ones. HIGHLY recommend this to Christians, whether they agree or not, but especially women who feel led to teach or are struggling with this issue like I did.

Fun in the beginning, then was WAY too 🌶️. Not what I needed in a book and also I’m now in another reading slump lol

Do I love this series? Absolutely. But this one just lacked the charm and magic that the earlier books had. It was great but I just miss having more of the fairy tale world.
- Alex could have been more active and featured
Same with Arthur
- SO MANY PLOT HOLES
- too easy ending
- not enough Conner/Bree romance (it was them kinda liking each other and skipped straight to them being married)

Love this one! It’s probably my second favorite. The amount of creativity in this gets me inspired every time
