I really wish this book was longer. I loved it so much but the ending felt a bit rushed to me (definitely a me thing). I know in the author's note she mentioned that she's working on a next book focused on her friend so we will see more of the four there. I will probably read that just so I can see what happens but I really would have liked more expansion here (especially in terms of Nathan's sister not liking Ivy) considering the book wasn't very long at all.
Edit: I’ve now tried reading the next book Touch and Go and I found myself kind of irritated that it wasn’t about the main four. There were just too many things unresolved in the first book to me so for the next book to not be about them irritated me enough to stop reading it.

The obsession I have with this series may be a slight problem for my mental health because now I’m gonna be in agony waiting for the next installment.

After patiently waiting for this book for what feels like years but in actuality was just a couple of months, I can say that I devoured this book in a single day and have restarted the cycle of waiting for the next one.
I loved this book. I loved it so much but I was left wanting more, and not in the way I usually am left wanting more after such a disrespectful cliffhanger. There were parts in the book that felt rushed like the scene where she killed the royals in the… tavern? pub? It was like all of a sudden BAM death and it felt out of nowhere. I would have loved to see more elaboration on a lot of things in the book, especially on Roc's and Vane's relationship.
And because I’m a petty, cynical bitch I would have preferred if Cherry had what was coming to her at least in some way. I know I should feel bad for her and on some level I do, but that venomous snake orchestrated for Winnie to die and I just was not satisfied with the boys' reaction. Not to mention the fact she went and started helping orchestrate a way for everyone and their mother to find a way to kill Pan, as if it wasn’t her fault they wanted her dead in the first place (I know they treated her like shit and she honestly has a right to turn on them I’m just extremely biased).
Overall I’m on the edge of my seat waiting for the next instalment to see what happens next.
