The obsession I have with this series may be a slight problem for my mental health because now I’m gonna be in agony waiting for the next installment.

After patiently waiting for this book for what feels like years but in actuality was just a couple of months, I can say that I devoured this book in a single day and have restarted the cycle of waiting for the next one.
I loved this book. I loved it so much but I was left wanting more, and not in the way I usually am left wanting more after such a disrespectful cliffhanger. There were parts in the book that felt rushed like the scene where she killed the royals in the… tavern? pub? It was like all of a sudden BAM death and it felt out of nowhere. I would have loved to see more elaboration on a lot of things in the book, especially on Roc's and Vane's relationship.
And because I’m a petty, cynical bitch I would have preferred if Cherry had what was coming to her at least in some way. I know I should feel bad for her and on some level I do, but that venomous snake orchestrated for Winnie to die and I just was not satisfied with the boys' reaction. Not to mention the fact she went and started helping orchestrate a way for everyone and their mother to find a way to kill Pan, as if it wasn’t her fault they wanted her dead in the first place (I know they treated her like shit and she honestly has a right to turn on them I’m just extremely biased).
Overall I’m on the edge of my seat waiting for the next instalment to see what happens next.

Mama, please forgive me but I've fallen in love with four extremely toxic and violent men 😩
This book is right up there in my favourite category of "books that made me want to slam myself into a wall because it ended too early"༼ つ ಥ_ಥ ༽つ
Now I have to wait for the next one and I'm not strong enough for this bullshit

I cannot explain how much I loved this book. I loved the main characters. I loved the world. I loved the spice. The only disappointing thing about the book to me was how short it was and I can't wait to read the next one.

I'm happy I read this book in audiobook format because I don't know if I would have gotten the full impact any other way. I might have even given up as I tend to avoid anything non-fiction or emotionally taxing books.
This book was beautifully written and as someone who grew up watching all those Nickelodeon shows (as almost everyone else here did) hearing about what the actors were made to endure was heartbreaking. I'm happy that these issues are being brought into the light now and I hope this is just a first step in the right direction for people's awareness of these issues.
Though it must have been difficult at times I am very thankful to Jennette for writing this book and I hope everyone gets the chance to read it themselves.

I absolutely loved the series and getting to know all the characters! Mina, I felt was relatable in some ways and not in others which I found enjoyable and I love love loved all the men.
My only issue was the lack of background context. Apart from the bonus memory scene at the end we don’t get much insight into their history together until this moment, despite it being mentioned numerous times throughout the story.
While I was reading I wished there had been at least a little bit of sprinkling of that context for Mina (cause I put myself into the characters I read and not knowing anything would have drove me crazy). I completely understand though that adding that could have negatively impacted the flow of the story and made it chunky in a way.

I very much enjoyed the story and the characters but there were times when I felt like it was almost too long. Certain scenes that I felt could have been done with less long-winded moments that unnecessarily prolong the book.
