This book was bit over the place. It also had a lot of misspelling. It did have some steamy parts. I understand it’s a short but the storyline could’ve been better. It wasn’t a bad read and I would read part 2.

I’m a big urban fiction/urban romance fan but this year I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and get into some non-fiction reads. I was never big on memoirs unless I’m interested in the person. I love Wu-Tang Clan so I was super excited to read about the infamous Ghostface Killah.

He speaks on his childhood, his health and bad habits. He also speaks on how the famous group Wu-Tang clan came about. He really spoke about a lot and gave a glimpse on a lot in his life. I don’t want to spoil it but if you are a Wu-Tang fan you would definitely love this.

Chapter 13 had to be my favorite chapter of this memoir. You got to see the real Dennis Coles and not Ghostface Killah or Tony Starks. I also loved hearing him speak about his clan members and it also showed how they all was in their own way.

Overall I give this 4 stars because I did enjoy getting to see the real him. Seeing the photos from back in the day was cool too but I also had a hard time understanding and there was a lot of repetition. I really hope there is a audiobook version in his voice because it would definitely give a better insight and more enjoyable for readers and fans.

This book is set to release on May 14, 2024.

Thank you St. Martin’s Press and NetGalley for providing me with an digital advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned is so true. Some parts was drastic and unrealistic but that’s fiction for you. It also felt dragged out. I feel like the story wasn’t really completed because the introduction wasn’t finished. It wasn’t a bad read just exaggerated.

This book took me through so many different emotions. Had me in me bed talking to the wall. I’m literally speechless. MMC Damien really was insane & he was the one that caused all the havoc smh. Persia is a strong women. The way this ended I can’t see how there is no second part. Never been a fan of urban thriller but Octavia somehow pulls me through everytime.

One thing Charae gonna do is eat a story up everytime. First the FMC Nyomi was just the sweetest. I literally loved her. She was a college student studying at Rutgers Univesity in New Brunswick, New Jersey to become a Veterinarian. She had a great head on her on shoulders and super supportive parents. Her parents hit her with some devastating news that had her in a frenzy and running to Diamond Falls to see her bestfriend Tokio. A night out with Tokio was what Nyomi needed to temporary take away the pain. She was approached with a invitation that she respectfully declined. Hezi was the man in Diamond Falls. The ladies loved him and the men wanted to hang with him. One night clubbing he laid eyes on the beautiful Nyomi and he was beguiled. He just had to have her but something was holding him back a bit. Let me first say it was hard to put this down. Nyomi and Hezi relationship was cute. It wasn’t you ideal relationship but they build a great bond. Hezi needed Nyomi. She taught him things about himself, she spoke positivity into him and she loved him for him. That’s exactly what he needed. Especially with how the way he grew up. He couldn’t get enough of her and vice versa. I wish Aniyah would’ve gotten the help she needed. She was sick and had severe emotional attachment issues. I loved me some Boog too. He was so cocky and funny. Tokio was a true friend that we all need. Jas and Boog 👀 hmm. The ending gave me joy but I do want more lol 🤷🏾‍♀️. I loved this book. I honestly didn’t want it to end. This read held my attention from beginning to end no lie. You would be hit with different emotions while reading but that’s the joy in it. Charae don’t drop often but when she do she drop nothing but bangers babyyy. Stop playing with my gworl and get into this good read & be lost in the sauce like I was.

Rory Green was your typical rude and arrogant superstar. Kamryn James was a IT girl. She was a social media influencer and also Rory’s coach daughter. They became sneaky links right up under her father nose. This story started off pretty hot because the two only wanted one thing from eachother and that was sex. I feel like once feelings started to get involved the story started to get a bit serious. Which is not a bad thing but them being sneaky links was more rebellious and get back at the coach so it was more excitement. Things started to take a serious turn because feelings was more involved and more intimate. Rory and Kamryn ended up getting their HEA which was pretty cute to see. This is a novella so it did move at a very quick pace. For this to be Mya first attempt at writing a erotica she did good. This was more of Forbidden/Sports Romance with some erotica. I would definitely recommend.

Damnn this is bittersweet. I really fell in love with these characters. They like my family. Just seeing them at 15 to adults with kids is so beautiful. I hate to see them go but so happy for them.

Antoinette really ate this series up. She made sure to make sure these characters are memorable ones 👏🏾.

I just love young love 🥰. Zodiac was a boy with the heart of a lion. At the young age of 15 he had grown man responsibilities. For him to be so young he was wise and it was hard not to like him. His personality was everything and he was so selfless. Reason was a smart, feisty girl. She took no mess and understood her worth. She had Zodi in a chokehold lol and vice versa. They was both young but the the love they had for one another was out of this world. I literally love their relationship. What I love most was they build their relationship off of friendship first. Their friendship was so solid and to watch it blossom into something so beautiful was so exhilarating. Of course there was a few hiccups but what relationship don’t have that? I also loved the brotherhood between Zodi and Yonis and the sisterhood between Reason and Shanice. To have real true friends from childhood into adulthood is unmatched.

This book was so good. Even the side characters I loved. Seriously this is a read you have to get into. Don’t second guess it just DO IT‼️
