Idk how many times I gotta say it but a friends to lovers is always gonna have me in a chokehold 🤷🏾♀️.
Ok so Eris did annoy me at times. She kept going back knowing things wasn’t going to change. I also didn’t like how she would put Tru on the back burner when he would stop everything for her and I mean everything was on hold when it came to her. Idgaf if Long Shoe was her husband because he ain’t have the same respect for her that she had for him. I just don’t understand how you go this long with a person like him. But then I see why her character allowed and put up with so much. It’s cause she was able to maintain her expensive lifestyle. I started to warm up to her once Valentine’s Day hit lol. I definitely ain’t blame sis at all. Iykyk.
I loved and adored Truly. From his first introduction I was sold. The way he carried himself was so alluring. The way he was so loyal to Eris was so attractive. He was such a good friend. He valued Eris so much because of his background and she was there for him. I really did love their friendship. I respected Eris so much more when she went out her way to do the unthinkable for Tru. Sis got some brownie points for that 👏🏾. This was a short good read so it did move at a fast pace but it kept you interested. So happy for T & E 💕
I’m truly ( no pun intended ) a sucka for friends to lovers trope. I’m ngl this story had me immediately from the first page no joke. First time author for me and I’m gonna browse her catalog. I recommed this read especially if you love this trope as much as I do.

Ngl it took me entirely too long to finish this. The first book was so good that I actually wanted a second part but maybe we pressured the author so hard she felt like she had to deliver. It was suppose to be a quick read & to move fast but it just felt rushed. I expected to see a deeper connection between Sneaux and Kasim but all I got was back and fourth until like 70% into the book. It wasn’t bad just not what I expected.

It’s been four years and Dreaux touched down from doing his bid. His main mission is to get his woman by any means. I was one of them people that needed a update on Rhoni and Dreaux. They needed a HEA because the chemistry was too strong. So happy K.C. delivered. Short and sweet 💖

I’m ngl Shakur definietly pissed me off majority of this book. I get he a emphat and wanna see the good in everyone but things was just to obvious to be overlooked. He should have never pursued Teyaira. Smashing her cool but a relationship was to far in my opinion. Teyaira just didn’t have it all the way there. I feel like she never really cared for Shakur. She liked him just off what he can do for her & the attention she recieved from him. She took his kindness for weakness because of his age. Manipulation at it’s best. Even tho I didn’t like her I kinda felt a lil bad for her. Kinda feel like she had daddy issues that she really haven’t dealt with. Presley was my girl. I hate what she went through as a teenager but I feel like it made her stronger and she became her best self. I also feel like she should’ve made Shakur work alil harder too. Her mother I couldn’t stand. I wanna give her a good NY a$$ whooping timbs included. I’m sorry I would not have continued to be in her life or have my kids around her either. I understand forgiving people and not holding grudges but that right there I couldn’t get with. It was too late when she wanted to acknowledge things only when someone else came forward. Sad excuse of a mother 🤷🏾♀️. Shakur redeemed himself. I love how he matured and stepped up. It just took him too damn long. He had to sit down for a few in order to see $h!t for what it really was. Overall Shvonne delivered as always. The way she maneuvered this story 👩🏿🍳💋. I can’t wait for Bashar story cause I know it’s gonna be crazy. I know Nixi gonna run me crazy. Good read 👏🏾.

I loved me some Krude after reading Weak For You and wanted to see more of him. He is so funny and childish. But so loving. I hope this man is getting SSI. Megan kinda annoyed me a bit. Like why you tryna change my cousin for ?? Either love him and accept him for who he is or keep it pushing sis. I was bout to disown her a$$ from the family with her nonsense. She betta had got it together. Now the ending was kinda of a bummer because it’s like a cliffhanger 😩. Overall this was such a funny quick read. It helped me outta my reading slump 👏🏾👏🏾.

Promise was such a genuine sweet woman. She was smart, beautiful and charismatic. All she cared about was her family and her job as a Neonatal Surgeon until Nathan Bowers stepped on the scene. Nathan was ambitious, determined, handsome and funny. He was the middle son of three. He was part owner of a coffee shop called Bowers Brews. When the sexy barista laid eyes on Promise he knew she was the one. Promise not so much lol. She been hurt in her college days and it made her think the worse and protect her heart. Nathan broke her down with his patience, persistence and charm. These two was super cute. They were opposites but also alike in ways. I love how they organically fell for one another. They meshed so well. I also loved how both of their families was super supportive. Nothing but positive and genuine vibes. I can’t wait to read about the other brothers especially Nahmir. He’s quite interesting. Allure was such a good friend. I wanna see more of her also. I loved her personality and her daughter lol. Malika was too adorable with the way she spoke. I melted everytime 🥰. I would’ve loved to see how cornball Jamal turned out. Overall this was a good quick cute read. This book will pull different emotions out of you.

I’m a big urban fiction fan and this is my introduction to K’wan. Lemme say that he didn’t disappoint. For this to be 400+ pages this was a breeze. This was really a page turner.
The bond Promise and Mouse has is solid. I love how they look out for one another. For B-Stone to be this big shot he’s so sloppy with his movements. I just couldn’t get with his character. I find Zul funny asf. When he was in Asher kitchen cooking breakfast with his mom apron on I was weak. He’s nothing to play with. He’s dangerous. He’s probably one of my faves in this book. I dislike Asher. He’s not loyal in my book and imma leave it at that. I want more of Keys. I’m interested in him. The ending of this is shocking. I’m so ready for part 2. It’s about to go down.

Cameron was a inmate at Fishkill Men’s Correctional Facility and Camille was his unit manager. She been fantasizing about him but the gag is she’s in a relationship with her boyfriend Omar who can’t sexually satisfy her. Wheww 🥵. When I say this was spicyyy. Chileee. Cameron had BDE behind bars. He wanted Ms. D baddd. Camille folded lol. I would’ve too 😂. I wanted to see alil more of them at the ending tho. Ngl Imma need update on these two. This was a good read and I think I’m gonna read this whole series.
